These are large chalet-type, well-spaced buildings with both upstairs and downstairs units. All of the upstairs units have an ocean view! We had four different units between the group, two up and two down. All were spacious and had small kitchens with every implement for cooking a meal for four. Staff was great and I would stay here again in a flash!

We went up to the office & spoke with the owner. Customer service did not seem to be his priority as he would go back & forth between being snarky & not. In the end, we were not charged the $20, but the experience left a very sour taste in our mouths.

He actually had a box that said, please do not use the towels to clean your vehicles. He also would not allow one of the people I was staying with to park his trailer behind the motel because there wasn't enough room..... which was not true! The trailer is a single motorcycle carrier! Long story short, if you can find somewhere else to stay in the highlands, stay there.

Because of tire issues, we arrived very late - after 8 p.m. Lyne stayed and greeted us on arrival. She was pleasant, accommodating, and recommended a place that would be open for dinner late (places are not open very late). The room was beautiful and nicely appointed. It was a pretty small room, but it made good use of space. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable with nice, soft linens. There was also good temperature control and the room was quiet. The room also had a nice balcony that would be nice to view sunsets. There was plenty of parking and the access in the back made it real easy to unload/load the car. You order breakfast when you check-in. The breakfast was pretty good and very filling which was good as we headed out on the Cabot Trail. Very nice B&B.
