Wow! Just amazing! Cake was so delicious, it was so beautiful, it was delivered on time and service was great and fast responding! My cousins and I decided to buy a special cake for our grandma's 82th birthday celebration. I filled out the request form and got a text within an hour. It was so smooth and easy to communicate through text. They were very helpful and was able to help me decide what kind of decoration to put. We went for mostly red because we are Chinese for good luck and added some pink and gold sparkle. I added the sparkle candle and it was awesome! The cake was so good! It was not overly sweet at all. Just perfect amount. It tasted like cheesecake. The cake was so thin and easy to cut through and was able to hold up its shape. I originally thought it was a cookie but its cake. The cake was delivered on time and was so smooth. This is definitely worth the price and splurge on your special someone's birthday for sure! Update: In response to the owner... I would never ask for a dessert to not be overly sweet!!! You must have me confused with someone else. See screenshots of our text conversation. I only ordered the mini cakes to taste test what the large cake would taste like. I wanted to make sure I knew what we were getting before placing a $235 order. Not everyone will like the taste of your dessert. It's subjective! Your cookie cake is not sweet enough for me or my family that tasted what I purchased from you. We also wanted a cake texture not soft cookie texture. We prefer sweeter icing not cream cheese. I thought from your description the cream cheese icing would have been like icing on a carrot cake or red velvet cake at least, but it literally tasted like cream cheese with no sugar. All the sweetness came from the strawberries. Again beautifully decorated just not to our liking. Initial Review: I saw all the beautiful pictures and fantastic reviews and decided to give them a try. However, my family wouldn't let me order a cake without taste testing first. So I let the owner know and he allowed me to purchase a couple of mini cakes. They were really cute, however, my family loves sweets and buttercream icing is preferred. The icing and filling Mila Pastry uses is cream cheese based and doesn't have enough sugar mixed in for our taste buds. It tastes more cheesy than sweet. I couldn't see paying over $200 just for esthetics and not enjoy the taste. The cake part is actually like a thin soft cookie texture "not" cake texture. So it all depends on what you are looking for and to do. If you want to wow people with your decorations and something unique I would recommend ordering. If you don't have a sweet tooth and prefer less sweet desserts place an order. I would recommend you pay the extra to have a ton of fruit added because that's what gives the sweetness to their dessert. I wish it would have worked out for us, but it just wasn't what we were looking for. read more

I keep coming back (she's done my 26th birthday number cake, and an engagement ring cake, and my 30th mini cakes) because I can trust that her cakes will be not just beautiful but delicious, fluffy and not too sweet. Absolutely loved working with Mila Pastry for the "W" cake for a birthday party. They were so easy to work with and the fruit was so fresh. The layered cake was so good with the vanilla cream and fruit combo. I personally don't like my cakes too sweet and this was so perfect! They were also able to deliver the cake to venue!! I also wanted to point out they did a great job on my graduation cake ("P" Shaped) from 9/2021!!! This was also a layered cake except with fresh flowers, macarons, and chocolate covered strawberries. These desserts are PHENOMENAL. Not only are they beautiful to look at, they taste delicious. People ran to the dessert table to get these and everyone went back for more. I've been trying to find a place that specializes in floral letter/number cakes for the longest time and am extremely glad I found this place through yelp. I needed a last minute cake for an engagement party. I contacted them through their website and received a response with a quote right away. Price was fair and didn't break my bank at all. Even with the time crunch, they were willing to work with me. Communication from them is unbeatable. Quick, prompt responses through text message. I felt like they really listened and accommodated to all my requests. You can customize the cake to whatever you want, and they will do it. Shape, toppings, you got it! They're like genies, your wish is their command. The hardest part was actually choosing which design I wanted. Their Instagram had countless of pictures you can get ideas from. They even sent out confirmation and reminders for pick up date and time. By far the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I ever received!!! The cake itself was an absolute hit. Not only was the presentation was beautiful, but it actually tasted as good as it looked. I never got so many compliments in my life! It's a delicious cookie cake with cream layered in between. Surprisingly it was also very easy to cut into and serve as well. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but everything they did just exceeded my expectations. Look no further. Stop here and order a macron number cake from Mila Pastry now! The communication was amazing (real time texting with quotes and updates) and safe, easy delivery. They even texted me a picture of the cake the morning of and it was exactly what we wanted!!! And it was DELICIOUS! The flat, cookie-ish part was light and easy to cut through, the macrons were delicate, the meringue and chocolate-covered strawberries were perfect and delicious. WOWOWOWOWOWOW I knew I wanted something special for my 30th birthday and after looking at their designs on their IG and Yelp page, I knew I wanted to order my cake here! All communication is done through text. The person I spoke to is Alex and he is SUPER nice. If there were any special requests I needed or any questions I had, he was always very responsive and accommodating. They have many different designs. You can take a look at the designs either on their Yelp or IG. Once you know which design you want, you just screenshot the photo and text it to them. After you confirm the details of your cake, they will take your payment via Venmo or Apple Cash. Partial payment at the time of placing order and remainder payment at the time of pick-up/delivery. They don't have a physical store. After you place your order, you can arrange for a date and time time to pick-up in Santa Clarita, which is where they are located. I'm not sure why their Yelp page states they are located in Glendale, but they are actually located in Santa Clarita. They do offer delivery, as well but for an extra fee. As for the cake, it is exactly like pictured but even more beautiful in person. Like seriously, it is out of this world beautiful! You can see the craft and talent that went into making it. The macarons that you see pictured on the cake are an additional charge so just a heads up. The cake is quite big. If you are ordering 2 or more numbers, it'll be good for about a party of 8-10. As for the taste of the cake, omg is it delicious!!!! Honestly, I was getting this cake more for the look and design. I didn't expect that it would be out of this world delicious!!!! It is not too overly sweet which I love. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to order a letter/number cake! read more

Mila Pastry went above and beyond when i had some delivery issues. First of all I was a little worried since this business doesn't have a storefront or a official website and they do all their business through text message. (BTW the phone number I used was (747)203-2445.) i even got more worried when I tried to make payment trough apple pay and I got a fraud warning. (Rest assure I guess it happens when you try to send money to someone you have no contact with.) Also if you dont want to use Apple Pay they accept Venmo. But dont be alarmed they are legit and went above beyond what is expected of them. Through text I got a detailed explanation for pricing and delivery fee. I had no issues with making sure we were on the same page regards to design/color and pricing. The delivery was a surprise for my friend but she wasn't home when they tried to deliver. They patiently waited while I scrambled to figure out if someone else would be coming home soon or if they had a neighbor I could leave it with it. Despite this annoying situation (for them) they were really nice and accomodating and never gave me attitude like some other places. They waited for another family member to come home so the cake wouldn't be left outside and potentially go bad. The cake was beautiful. My friends was happy. HIGHLY recomment them and would definitely use them again. Dont worry that they dont have a storefront or webpage they are legit. read more

Alex was so sweet! I literally reached out today around 11 o'clock (am) and my order was ready to be picked up at 1:30! He even walked it to my car. Communication wasn't an issue! They are very responsive, and we paid via Venmo which made life so much easier. I ordered 6 mini cakes for my grandma (and couldn't help to eat one myself!) for Mother's Day. They are SO beautifully decorated. Perfectly sweet, perfectly sized. The fruits are fresh. My hubby said the cream tasted like cheesecake, which had him wanting more! My grandmother absolutely loved it! She has a hard time chewing, so we have to wait a little til they hopefully get soggy so she can finish one whole! Thank you SO MUCH again for accommodating!
