We were in Galveston on vacation, and were in the mood for a good burger, and decided to give this place a try. When you enter, you go up to the counter to place your order, then find a seat. They don't have a lot of seating, but they also do have a bar area where you can watch them, cook. We got a special, which included a burger, fries, drink, and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. The burgers and fries are excellent! You give them a list of what toppings you want, and they have quite a lot to choose from. My boyfriend ordered grilled onions, and when he got his burger at first, he was mad because "he didn't see the onions ". They chop their grilled onions up into small pieces - it actually looked more like pickle relish than grilled onions. Once he figured that out he realized he did have the onions on his burger as ordered, and really enjoyed his burger. The Mac sauce comes in a side container. It is very much like the "other" Mac sauce, except it is spicier, on the peppery side. It was a little much for me, so I skipped it. The drinks were your basic fountain drinks (Pepsi products) but I need to give a shout-out to the pebble ice - always a favorite! The ice cream was your basic flavors, vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate, but it was absolutely excellent! It was the perfect dessert to a yummy meal! The girl that was in at the register is wearing gloves, not changing gloves, after gives change. She proceeds to scratch it coworkers back while still wearing the same gloves. The people with long hair, not use any kind of protection too. Keep the hair from falling into the food. The hygiene of the workers are a big issue for me. read more

Husband opted to repeat the excellent burger experience. Hot dog was served open faced, too much to fold and cram in my mouth. I did get the chili cheese Mayo & mustard as my toppings though. Amazing place to stop by and try if you are in the Galveston area! The burgers are delicious, flavorful, tasty and worth the price! That isn't the best thing is the special they have that comes with everything burger, fries, drink and dessert, and along with that you get to choose what toppings, type of cheese and dressing you would like on your burger in that special! 10/10 would recommend, price, food and portions amazing!! at least as the workers nice!
