I'm so excited that today Betty hooked me up. I had a last minute cancellation for a quick eye moment for a party tonight, and they cancelled and I needed someone very very last minute and Betty was absolutely welcoming and professional and made me feel wanted. She not only gave me what I wanted but offered an incredible gold touch bc my outfit had some gold in it. I'm so grateful to have Mac apart of our community and me apart of theirs! read more

I scheduled a makeup appointment ahead of a professional photoshoot and had a lovely experience with Chanel. She did a great job with my makeup, giving me the clean, low glam look I asked for. I'm not a makeup pro, so I asked Chanel for a few product recommendations after the appointment. Not only did she help me pick out items, she took extra time to show me exactly how to use them! I really appreciate the care I received here, leaving me feeling confident ahead of my photoshoot. Thank you Chanel and MAC team! Will definitely be back! read more

After not wearing make up much for many years, I went into this store and was treated like gold! I needed a lot of help and Lili was so patient and helpful. She really knew her products and helped to boost my confidence with her recommendations and suggestions. I had to go back the next day because one of the glass bottles was broken. Star was there to assist with the exchange. She was so friendly and quick to get it taken care of. I look forward to shopping at this store in the future because of the great customer service and product knowledge! Thank you both very much! read more

I'd like to just start by saying this was my first visit to MAC. I was recently gifted some minis for my birthday and fell in love with some products. I recently made an appointment for a quick essentials consultation. I was immediately greeted with a smile from Mia and she helped me find the basics I needed for an everyday makeup look. Mia took her time to explain the process, provide tips and recommendations. Mia was incredibly helpful and I felt more confident walking out. Everyone at this location was incredibly sweet in complimenting my look and it seemed like an overall happy team. Throughout my visit, there were customers who came in and every team member jumped in to assist and had good vibes. Really glad I stopped by and look forward to visiting again. read more

Got my wedding makeup here and hated, never showed me me stages throughout til final version... I cried. Horrible. And then THEY made me feel bad for not liking it. Ended up going home, washing off, and doing my own, waste of money, and ruined my wedding day. read more

Amy at the MAC store at the Biltmore really took the info I gave her and delivered a solid approach to my skin care challenges from the cosmetics angle. She took the time to listen, also consider the product I was initially looking for (which was wrong) and help me put together what will be a long term approach thanks to her. It's always nice when you come across someone who works with people who takes the time to listen to them! read more

I was treated badly at this location as of recently, since the pandemic. So they had this way of triaging customers into the store. Only a few customers could come in at a time. I had this one experience where an associate felt like I wasn't going to buy. She was rude and rushed me out of the store. And this wasn't just a bad day kind of rude, it was the type of rude where she was actually flat out disrespectful. I was pretty confused by the interaction, but she kept on looking at the door. On a previous occasions she had been very nice and helpful. I realized after I left, she was waiting for me to leave so that another customer (maybe she believed would buy) would come in. I can't remember if I was purchasing or not that day. I usually do. I'm not much of a window shopper, but I usually ask questions. She wasn't helpful. That was about 8 mos ago so hopefully things have changed. read more

Allison and McKayla make this store what it is. I come in with my mom about once a month on Saturdays, and they're usually both working. They have such warm personalities, and are so caring they make you feel like their friend when you leave. They helped me pick out makeup for my wedding, showed me how to use it, and made me feel so beautiful! Because of them, you will never feel intimidated walking in as you do in most other makeup stores. They definitely deserve some recognization from their higher-ups! read more

I love this MAC for the location- not only being the closest to me (which is still kind of a drive), the proximity in an open air mall means I can park (& now Biltmore has free parking along Camelback!) and get in and out to this store. It's centrally located in the mall and east to access from front by Blanco Tacos. For this reason, it's been my chosen location for many years now, however I was there this weekend and had the best service ever! I've never had bad customer service at any MAC, but this weekend Brandon helped me and he went above and beyond. He was attentive, friendly, and took time to really understand what products I needed, and the color palette I prefer. By the end of my sale, he knew exactly which colors and products I would like. He was able to sell products without being pushy- he just knew what I would like. Because of Brandon, I am trying new products like the micellar water makeup remover wipes, cream blush, and Fix+ Stay spray. His makeup was impeccable, especially his eye makeup which was ON POINT. I spent way more than I anticipated that day but walked out of the store so excited to try new colors and products! Brandon was key to my excellent experience this weekend. Just had to acknowledge that. read more

I have gone into this Mac location several times. Mac has been at the Biltmore for over 20 years. Although they used to be at a different location inside the Biltmore. This is a cute little store that's packed with make up pleasure. Today after lunch at Seasons 52 I stopped in here to have a look at the latest holiday make up. I was greeted by a Beautiful young lady who's make up was perfect! She was extremely helpful in showing me all the latest make up deals for the holiday. All the glitter and shine and sparkle. Her name is Kiana, also Jason is very helpful. But, actually they're all very helpful and friendly in this location. For a fee they do make up application there for you ,if you're in the mood to get your make up done. Which I did not get today. Also they have a rewards program the more you buy ,the more points you get. You can get the points at any store, also When you want to buy online. Everyone is always helpful in the store and very friendly. The store is always clean and and wonderfully laid out. They offer samples to try inside the store of everything. I much more like going to the Mac store that is a freestanding store than let's say a Mac store in the airport. Such as in Philadelphia or Chicago. Because, anything you buy an Mac store in the airport you cannot return or exchange anywhere else. Because, they're not truly a Mac store apparently. I feel safer going to an actual Mac freestanding store. For quality assurance and a guaranteed product. read more

I had my makeup done for my wedding. I absolutely love it. I believe my MUA name was Yuli. :/ I called and made an appointment for their private room about 2 weeks in advance. That was simple easy and painless. Paying $50 bucks for uninterrupted service (plus a mascara) is totally worth it. My artist listened to what I wanted but I really just let her do what she wanted. My makeup looked great from 1pm to 1am when I went to bed! Thanks again! read more

This was my first visit to this location and it did not disappoint. I'm not a huge makeup wearer, but it's high quality and the employees are always super helpful. It's sad to say dang it, but at 40 I'm finally learning what makeup looks best on my skin tone and that has a lot to do with MAC making me feel comfortable enough to ask questions. I had my makeup done for a friends wedding at the arrowhead location and my daughters had quite a few occasions getting hers done for prom and dance. This location is very clean, organized and awesome. If you have a special occasion I recommend coming to MAC and having them doll you up. With the purchase of having them do your makeup you'll also get to chose a few items to take with you. Very worth the price. read more

Allison R. SHE IS THE BESTTTT! I have been to this particular store on 3 different occasions for various purposes. I can honestly say only 2 of those 3 trips were worth the time and effort... the only difference was the employee who helped me. Allison R is so knowledagble about all the products and what would work best for me. She educated me on products and processes and it makes me trust her advice. I also had her help making an exchange/return and the back to MAC recycle program. Allison makes everything a breeze and wants you to be happy with not only what you purchase but with your experience as a whole. I will continue to return to this store over other stores for anything I need due to the customer service I received. Don't just go to this location.... go see Allison R she will change your make up game! I promise you won't be disappointed =) read more

Kind and helpful staff members! Will return again :)

The store is usually fairly busy and since there are plenty surrounding makeup counters I think that's a sign of great products and service. What I particularly like about this location is the guy who works here. I do not remember his name however I love his expertise and honesty. He has told me in the past to try a different shade of something and today he was telling a customer that he didn't like a particular foundation on her and was recommending something else. This type of honest and trustworthy customer service is what will keep us coming back. read more

I love this location! Each staff member is friendly and will help you to achieve your desired look!

Thank you so much for color matching my daughter, Lily. They were so sweet and even taught her how to apply eyeshadow and learn how to do wings. She was so sweet and definitely boosted my 12 year olds confidence. Thank you so much for your help and a great experience. read more

As with most MAC counters I've been to the staff tends to be aloof when you walk in and attempt to correct their attitude when you decide to buy something. After visiting this location 2-3 times for foundation staples I would say it's hit or miss the quality of customer service you will experience. I only use MAC for my basic foundation needs because they bought out the company whose product line I used to use. On my last visit I learned not ALL of their computers are linked so if you visit a different location you may have to give them your name and favorite product information all over again. Hmmmm....good to know. read more

Dani M was amazing!! She was so helpful, and helped me picked out some amazing colors, even during this awkward time due to Covid. I adore MAC in general but this store is the best. The girls are very helpful and you don't feel like they're talking shit about you behind your back the entire time you're shopping. Helpful without being pushy (very important). I have never had my makeup done here because I have a phobia with people touching my face.... however I might just have to try and break myself of that soon. The product itself is fantastic. I just bought some Mineral Powder Foundation that makes my 32 yr old skin "appear" to be 27ish, maybe even younger out of direct sunlight. (maybe even 22ish under blacklight... but we wont go there). I'm docking one star because they don't have refill sponges for the applicator, so you're stuck washing them which I can't stand. It's no botox but let me tell ya, when the time comes, I'll let the doctor touch my face all he wants for that shiz. I'll just pop a xanax and slam a glass of wine before my apointment. I mean this is the Biltmore Area right!!? read more

These chicks are friendly! I've never had so much service just buying a lipstick. Not that I'm complaining. This is the way the world should be. The gal helped me test a few colors on my hand, and then cleaned the couple I wanted to actually try on with alcohol. She also had these wonderful wipes that took all the lipstick off in between colors. Usually I am in Target, or someplace similar covertly trying lipstick colors on my hand, and hoping I am not going to get in trouble. I swear the plastic was already off the ones I tested. ;) The one negative was the endless cross promotion she was doing. I am sure corporate requires them to do that, but honestly it was information overload. After like 30 seconds of it I just tuned it out and said cool every so often. Overall a great experience, I will be back Mac! read more

I love MAC but I don't see myself returning to this particular location. The staff weren't very friendly - they looked down on me from the moment I stepped into the store (I'm admittedly not wealthy so I guess they were worried I'd spread my poor person germs on their products). I'll just refresh my makeup collection elsewhere :) read more

I am a makeup whore, and that's fine. I recently rediscovered the joys of MAC after being sucked into the way high-end makeup world for the past few years, and man, MAC is the shit. It's not expensive, it's good quality, the selection is incredible, they give samples, the fragrances are killer... I could go on and on. The only weird thing is that I think the sales staff is told to compliment every customer on something. It feels disingenuous. The last time I was in, I was "helped" by a totally disinterested girl whose own makeup looked so awesome, she could have sold me hundreds of dollars' worth if she had offered to replicate it on me. When she was ringing me up, she seemed to suddenly remember to toss out a random compliment, and afterwards she looked like she had just taken a fabulous dump, she was so pleased with herself. read more

It really is unfortunate the type of service that I had at this location this past Wednesday. I came in with a list of lipsticks that I wanted to try on, having never been to a Mac store, ever. I have been to a Mac in a Nordstrom's before and have bought items online. But at my 29-years of age, I had never been into a store because the stores are so intimidating. I walked in, and saw a gorgeous blonde helping a couple women. She had an AMAZING personality and was really engaging. I was excited to see the type of experience this other lady was receiving. Super excited, I whipped out my Filofax with all of the lipsticks I wanted to try for a PRETTY SIGNIFICANT EVENT. A woman with long dark hair walked up to me, and asked what I was looking for. I stated I had a few lipsticks I was wanting to try on, and started listing a few names. She walked over to the lipsticks and started plopping them in front of me. Being used to Sephora and Ulta, I was expecting to have a wand of some sort to apply the lipstick, and because I had these lipsticks placed in front of me, I wondered what to do. I asked if I was just supposed to try them out of the tubes and she said yes. (Maybe she does not realize I'm a Mac store virgin?) I communicated that fact, and she (without looking at me) nods but makes no attempt at engaging me. Okay, got it. SO I started to try on these lipsticks, Morange, Hug Me, Angel, etc. The lady helping me and another brunette stood 2-4 feet behind me and just started talking to one another. As I start asking the brunette (supposedly "helping me") questions, she does not look at me and just answers, gong back to her conversation. I tried to engage her with the importance of my visit, hoping that she would understand that I might need an opinion or two. But after a while, it completely felt like I was wasting her time. I communicated about two lippies that I was interested in, asking her if there was any other color she would recommend. She takes a look at the lipsticks, and says "no, not really". No suggestions about lipgloss, lipliners, etc. I was DEFINITELY down to put some money away at this store, but I was officially put off. I actually contemplated walking out and not buying the 2 lipsticks I loved, but I was already attached. At some point, the blonde salesperson came over and complimented my Filofax. It was a sweet gesture, and showed me that there are clearly SOME people interested in engaging with customers at this store. The unfortunate part is that all of the girls at the store were asking my lady questions. So I can assume she has either been around a while or has a prominent position. (SUPER UNFORTUNATE!!!) I work around the corner and would have been back. Definitely not now. The worst part is that my coworker is a prominent Youtuber who uses Mac products A LOT. I haven't told her this story yet, but I'm sure if she asks me to go to the store with her as a happy-hour spend-fest, my story will not motivate her to spend the bank she normally spends at THIS particular store. P.S. Her Employee ID Number is 408217, unless she has the ability to ring sales up under others' numbers. Oh the shade of it all. read more

This is my FAVORITE Mac location in the world. They always have everything I need in stock, and the staff members are always super friendly and willing to help out. I have shopped here probably ten or twelve times and have had the same, positive experience each time. I'm glad they moved to a bigger store... means more products available for me to buy :) My only dislike is that it is in the Biltmore Fashion Park, so parking can be a bitch, but if you are going there anyways its the perfect time to stop by and pick up some Mac! read more

I LOVE LOVE this location. This location is by far my favorite. Don't get me wrong I love Mac but I also know I'm not 20 years old any longer and while some looks may look fabulous on the younger generation may not look good on the 40 something ladies. This location is very in tune with their clientele. They are friendly and very helpful, when I need help with deciding on which bronzer to use the lady working there was very helpful and even helped me pick out a better foundation. Mac is not just for the 20th something crowd, they love us 40 something ladies too and treat us that way as well. I love this location. read more

First time visiting this store but am a MAC fanatic and have been for sometime!! I was quickly greeted and helped by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable gal (I should have gotten her name but I didn't whoops). I knew what I needed for the most part but asked for some help in selecting lipsticks and she was great. She asked me a few questions and found me 2 of the perfect colors!! I went in to MAC with a specific purpose: I wanted to get instruction and possibly some products for a professional, work or interview type of look. Now I am a drugstore makeup girl and have never gone in to one of these places to get my makeup done. Lately I've been attempting to get into highlighting/contouring and other makeup skills via Pinterest. I went in and Shannon helped me. She was awesome and very down to earth. She knew what I was going for and was helpful but the whole process was very quick, which I appreciated. I want to have a professional look daily but get incredibly lazy and bored when I groom myself for too long, so she showed me a great look that was easy and fast. She was not pushy at all with selling products. I ended up spending much more than I ever have spent in my life on makeup, but from what Shannon told me and what I've heard these products last forever. I'm trying to look at it as an investment in myself. I bought foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, and the the mineral finish. Now I may have to go back and get the lip gloss she used on me. I was thinking I already have a bunch of lip glosses and lipsticks, but this one seriously lasted all day even though my lips were all dry and gross. It was amazing. I don't know if I can afford to go back all the time but I would love to be able to. The other employees seemed very knowledgeable and friendly, but Shannon was fantastic and even waited for me when I stupidly left my wallet in the car. Hopefully my makeover will help me land a job so I can afford to shop at MAC all the time. read more

Yesterday was my first time in a MAC store. I think the ONLY thing I have ever purchased from them was an AWESOME nail polish back in like 1995. So yesterday, I went a bit crazy. My GF who I was with uses MAC products and loves them. I use Origin's and was HOPING MAC would have an enviornmentally friendly product but no such luck. (although they do not test on animals for whatever its worth) I ended up purchasing two lip glosses, two lipliners, a lipstick, eyeliner and a shadow compact (Smoke and Mirrors) with 6 colors in it. Altogether it was $150 but I expected that and like another reviewer said...this stuff LASTS. What's even cooler is that Jessica (the clerk assisting me) showed me how to put on eyeliner! I know it sounds silly but I just never wear makeup anymore so when I do my eyeliner looks like it was put on by someone with a shaky hand. Jessica showed me a fool-proof way to make my eyes POP and look as flawless as she made them look. TOTALLY going back here for a makeover and perhaps some false eyelashes at some point. There "card" system allows for all of my purchase information to be saved so that I don't have to wonder what I purchased when it comes time to refil my makeup bag. Check out this place if you haven't already. Super great and friendly staff! read more

I love this location, and I love this product. I think the prices are reasonable considering the quality of product you are getting. If you've only been to the Scottsdale Fashion Square location and hate it, give this one a try. It's got a much better vibe and is a lot less packed. Walked right in was helped, she grabbed what I needed and I was off. It took all of 15 minutes even with picking out a totally new foundation then I used before. read more

MAC by far is obviously the best brand out there and Scottsdale fashion def. has a great store. The makeup artists are AMAZING and so helpful. My favorite location.. It's small and it's friendly. Most MAC stores are usually busy for a reason.. most of us MAC users know the product and love the product and the staff. AND they are 'green' .. you can bring in your old 'pods' for a free lipstick! YAY for GLAM! I don't like the Scottsdale location as well, again for lack of customer care and time given.
