When to the MAC counter today for a color match. Raquel was sooo helpful and professional her energy was amazing and was very happy to help ,and the other beautiful young ladies on staff were pleasant as well. Raquel recommendations. Were adequate and helpful. Will be returning soon. read more

Where's Ashton! I was seriously waiting for an MTV camera crew to pop out during my visit this afternoon. Regrettably, the MAC girls in Macy's at the Meadows mall weren't pretending. MUA here are not helpful period!! After a poor attempt at matching concealer and the same MUA telling me someone else has to help me because her alleged appoint "came back"... I was over the whole experience. The next MUA was even more useless and disregarded me as well to help someone else that walked up after I did. I gave up and settled for a few quick grabs. Of course I observed the initial MUA assisting someone else who asked for help while her alleged "appointment " waited. This place is an unorganized hot-mess express counter! I definitely don't recommend coming here unless your able to physically grab what you need without additional assistance. I'm still agitated because I did not purchase everything I needed! read more

Something I just do because I'm about ready to buy product anyway, so like a crazy person I explained to Taylor... I want to be like Tinkerbell.. Glitter, colors and all. HA I guess she got it! Love love loved it!! It was a cross between the sugar plum fairy and that hooker from True Blood, Sookie right? Fierce Fairy! read more

Customer service here is incredibly disappointing... An asian blonde chick was too busy doing inventory, or something of that nature. Asked her for help on three colors and only offered waterproof and that none of the colors would work, told me sorry and that I should check out the pro store. Another gentleman who was very quiet and dry was helping my family so I got involved. It was like pulling teeth to get information. But he did go out of his way to find a couple colors that would possibly work. But after trying to find a matching foundation to my skin he never mentioned the colors so I am still not sure what to buy when I come back... I've been using MAC for 10 plus years and never had service that bad. read more

One star is generous for this location. I walked up to the register to buy my powder today, there was a guy on the phone, never looked at or acknowledged me, when he was done on the phone HE WALKED AWAY!!!! There was a girl to my left cleaning her brushes never bothered to ask if she could help me or at least tell me to drop dead so I know I'm not invisible. I finally threw my hands up and said you guys are obviously too busy and left. Unfortunately, this is the closest location to me so I am pretty stuck. I go to the fashion show location when I can, but I don't get there too often. With all the negative reviews of this location one would think management would do something about it. It's either they are t aware of it or management doesn't care!!!! read more

I went here for my birthday this past weekend. I drove from San Diego, CA and was told that the earlier I got there, the better! Cathy helped me with my make up. She was very sweet and provided great hospitality. When she finished my make up, I looked like a whole new person ! Made me feel like a princess I LOVE her work. She's AMAZING. I just had to compliment her and write a review. Thank you Cathy read more

I came in to get some new makeup. I hate looking around and would rather have somebody tell me what's best I use but of course I had to ask someone for help after five minutes of looking with no greeting. Finally I asked someone for help, (she didn't give me her name) but ended up being very helpful and honest about my choices. I did tell her that I wanted to buy more than I wanted after trying some stuff on, but she suggested I wear what I had on to see how I liked it for the rest of the night before I made a huge purchase. This I didn't mind at all and was super appreciative of her! BTW, this MAC is inside Macy's instead of Dillard's. read more

Horrible, Horrible, horrible customer service. One of the worst MAC stores I've been to. Associates walked past me and didn't greet me, or ask if I needed help or anything. Why choose to work with the public If you're not a people person? Artists were very snooty in my opinion. This store was out of stock on everything!!!! Wow...this was my first and last time coming to this store. Then after 5 minutes when I went to the register they asked me if I needed something??? Duh! That's why I'm standing here moron! Of course what I wanted was out of stock. The MAC in the Galleria Mall is so much better. Plus they always have what you want. I will not be returning to this low budget mall. read more

This was my 3rd time here at this particular Mac counter. Each time I came the service is worse. I don't like to write bad reviews but honestly this has been the worse customer service experience by far. I told a sales girl I needed her help when she's done with the other customer then I see that she just started helping someone else when she was done meanwhile I've been standing at the counter for 20 minutes. Then I see other customers being helped before me. So I went to another girl and she said she has a customer and that customer came after me so I told her so. She got the guy to help me but while I sit and waited he helped other people who also came after me. He finally came to me and applied foundation to half of my face then left again to help other customers. I sat there for a while and he never came back so I wiped the foundation off and left. I am so disappointed and this will be the LAST TIME EVER I will visit this counter. read more

Lori is out of this world amazing! She helped me find the color I needed as well as the perfect products. She was so kind and went out of her way to help me with samples for my wedding day. She's the kind of person who makes you want to keep coming back just for her outstanding service and hospitality. She made me feel like we were friends shopping together. Lori, thank you SO much! read more

The boy behind the counter with the Mac necklace and extremely blue eyes was very rude and non observant to his surroundings and made me wait for 10 min before he noticed me because he sat there gossiping and not doing his job read more

This location is always out of something I need. If I need 3 items, they'll be out of at least 1. Today I only needed 1 thing, makeup wipes and they're out! How are you going to be out of a staple item like makeup remover wipes? I'll just stick with the pro shops! read more

There's a viral video comparing MAC employees to Sephora employees, describing the MAC employees as stuck up and standoffish. That is NOT true, at least for this location! I don't know why people feel so entitled and whiny to complain like they did in the previous reviews. Every time I've been here, the employees are super friendly, patient and helpful. I absolutely love that you get a free lipstick when you turn in 6 empty containers. read more

Horrible customer service!!!!!! The only reason I come here is because it's the closest location to me. EVERY "employee" that works here really sucks! No one bothers to see if you need help. there's not a designated person in front to handle transactions so you have to wait. I rather drive an extra 25 minutes then to deal with there employees uselessness. The company needs to check on these employees. Fire ALL of them, and hire people that actually give a crap about there customers read more

I am a Platinum customer at Ulta and VIB at Sephora. To say that I "love" makeup is an understatement. I have been sold all types of foundations and concealers to help with my hyperpigmentation. Nothing has worked! I'm not saying that MAC is better than any other brand, although it might be, I think that what made a difference for me was the makeup artist that helped me. Jaqueline (we even share the same name) was amazing! She achieved what no one else had ever before and she gave me great tips. I only didn't cry of happiness with the results because I didn't want to ruin her beautiful work. So happy I decided to stop by Meadows Mall today! Thank you Jackie!!!! read more

Worst customers service I have even received in my life. I arrived knowing exactly what I wanted, stood by the product while the "employees " walked by me without offering me assistance. One was working on a customer's makeup while the other who I later found out was the manager worked on someone elses. I waited patiently for 20 minutes till my newborn started crying. My five year old asking how come no one wanted to help us. Upset I finally found my husband in the store and told him I wanted to go without the product I had went to the mall for. My husband then angrily walked up to the manager and told her I had been waiting around forever and just simply needed to be rung up. The person who she was working on turned out to be another employee who then rung me up. Apparently working on each others faces is more important than helping paying customers. Will never return here. read more

Every Mac employee has been so rude and if you ask any questions about make up they make you feel stupid & you're wasting their time. The only time I ever got great service was from the girls at fashion show. I went to Mac at meadows mall to find my shade for the prolong concealer because I heard how good it is the guy working took one glance at my light completion & said "we don't have your color" as a salesmen wouldn't you at least try to find a similar match or point me to another concealer? Not just turn the sale away. I was planning on buying quite a bit that day but they just lost the sale. Mac would be so much more successful if they had more caring employees that we're passionate about their job. Instead they rather do each others make up. read more

If you ever come here be prepared to wait 20 minutes with no greeting or assistance!!! Came in and no one seemed to bother to ask if I needed anything. I was fed up so went up to one of the girls doing makeup on someone and said "oh one of the others could get it" which to I responded " well then who CAN help me?!" She said it would be a couple of minutes rudely dismissing me. Finally someone came up to me. Rather take the extra 20 minutes to drive down to miracle mile where they actually help you!! read more

If I could give no stars I would. Such horrible service. Asked me what I wanted and I told her I was looking for a foundation, she asked me about my skin type and then said "okay wait here, let me go find something for you." I waited 10 minutes and she proceeded to do another girls makeup. No wonder they have bad ratings. I left I'll be going to the fashion show location. read more

Went in today to get my make up done for a photo shoot for my husband's and I Christmas cards. Made a last minute appointment which they were able to accommodate. Dustin was my make up artist, and he did such an amazing job, my make up looked flawless and I got so many compliments, plus he explained everything he as using and why. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be coming back in the future. read more

She's like I don't know , but I'll be w u when I'm done .. I couldn't belive it ... Never ever ever again .. I don't care how convientient it is . read more

I really wish I could give negative stars. The first time I went in to look for faux lipstick the first employee was polite and said she didn't know if they had it in Stock so she asked a lady I'm assuming was her manager she walked up to me and told me in the rudest tone "you want what?" I told her faux lipstick she asked if it was limited edition I told her no its a permanent shade she looked at me like I was the biggest idiot in the world and in the most condescending tone said "we don't have a lipstick called that" at this point I was over it and didn't want to give them my business so I just left I know for a fact faux is a permanent shade and even if you weren't sure maybe look it up and don't talk to me like I'm stupid. The second time I went thinking maybe someone else is there and I don't feel like driving to another store so again I went in to buy fix+ and started looking at the lipsticks of course the same woman comes up to help me I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I know retail isn't easy and everyone has their days I told her I wanted a brownish pink color that wasn't very dark she showed me two that were more beige and I told her I wanted it a little darker she gave me the dirtiest look and said again very rudely "that color doesn't exist you're going to have to just sit here and try out the lipsticks let me know if you need anything" and literally left the counter she didn't walk over to another area she left the counter entirely I bought the fix+ because I needed it and left. If she is the manager I feel so bad for the staff she seems like a terrible person to be around. read more

One star is VERY generous for this location. I am a frequent MAC shopper and I was at this location to trade in my 6 empty containers for the free lipstick for my 15 year old daughter. I was ignored for the first five minutes of being there. Finally I was acknowledged by an employee named Michael- who was dressed very unprofessionally, taking selfie in the mirror, and had NO name tag. My daughter was looking at the color selection while I was discussing my options with Michael, when he told me to tell my daughter to get away from the display. He said it was "under construction". After Michael walked away to help another customer we walked back over to the display that wasn't labeled as "under construction" where the lipstick color my daughter wanted was there. Michael approached us again and I explained to him the color we wanted was here. He told us that people steal the lipsticks on this display. After that, we asked if they had that color in stock. He checked one drawer and then said no. I asked for my containers back and I told him he shouldn't accuse his customers of being criminals. I will not be returning to this location again. read more
