The room itself was very clean and comfortable, making it a good environment to learn and complete the training. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was access to the facility. The person responsible for opening the suites did not arrive on time, which caused a delay for my appointment. I called the number provided, and although they attempted to reach her, she did not answer. I also tried calling multiple times with no response. The Safety Training Seminar member I spoke with over the phone mentioned they could reschedule me for a later time if needed since they could not reach her and were unsure of why the suite was closed. She eventually answered my call, this being after 9:30 AM, stating she was sick and had just opened. While I understand things happen, it was frustrating having to wait and ask nearby businesses for help especially when someone mentioned this isn't the first time the door hasn't been unlocked and she " tends to forget " so I'm not sure how true her statement of being sick was especially since she answered my call extremely rude and then hung up I hope this issue is addressed moving forward, as the training itself and the facility were otherwise good.

Holly was so knowledgeable and explained things in such detail. I am usually in class every two years because I have to be, I don't interact. Holly made class interesting and fun. Her personality is bubbly, she's funny I couldn't help but blurt out all the answers because she was so on it with her explanations and visuals. I mentioned to her after class that she was honestly the best instructor ever. Pretty much the whole class agreed. I've wanted to take ACLS and PALS but dreaded the blah of it all and doubted that I would even retain the smallest bit of information. It's not easy by any means but the instructors Wagner and the assisting instructors (Bryan & Natasha) are very patient with the students who may not get it first time around. They are good about working with a person with a learning disability. I have dyslexia and am a auditory learner so it's extra work for me but worth it! Had Marcus Wagner as my main instructor and he's a phenomenal teacher. Super smart about putting medical things that could be dull and hard to learn into a fun, humorous, engaging classroom experience. He is fun and truly funny. If you don't learn what he's teaching - you're not paying attention. He likes the student to engage and ask questions. And TRUST ME he answered all the questions from us crazy student. Smart smart dude. Expert Tip: learn your acronyms ASAP! They will be in tests!!! And the participation grade is easy to keep you over the top of you struggle a little with the tests. They have a app for grading and assignments that is very convenient for the students. Your grade and what you received on quizzes, tests, homework and participation are available in black and white at your fingertips. Wagner is very very good about getting the grade to the student that day so you know where you stand and where you need to improve. If you're a good student study for approx an hour a chapter - for me slower learner it's about 2/3 hours if done right. We did buy a new book seems like you need a new one every other year . Purchased online when regeistering. But I believe they are also available to buy in person. Class was pretty full and instructor kept up with disinfecting everything . We did practice social distance and 1 person per table.
