Walked into this iconic restaurant ready to eat some of their pastrami and could not have been more excited!!!! Free parking in the back lot behind the restaurant is a huge plus to this space that is massive because parking in Chicago is an expensive nightmare! The pastrami was delicious and quite massive for the price! My only complaint would be that I wish the whole Navels were hot and slice fresh to order, but this is a super, old school Deli that knows their business and I see why they won't reinvent the wheel on that one. My date had the roast beef and it was super rare. The staff were more than accommodating and ready to answer all your questions and make sure you are happy. Place is massive and had a market off to the side which is really awesome if you want to get something to go! Definitely would Go back in a heartbeat!

(I am in Las Vegas ) Unfortunately the delivery service the Deli usually uses quits before 2:30 and so I couldn't get it delivered. I called the Deli to ask if they had a different service and the owner said, he would take it there himself to my sick friend THAT KIND OF ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT IS WHAT WE NEED MORE OF! Small businesses give a damn and I love that this owner was kind enough to go all the way over to the Warwick Allerton to personally deliver her chicken soup and tuna, which by the way she said was absolutely fabulous!! When given an option I will pick a small business over corporate America any day... And this owner just gave me another good reason why. Kudos to a business owner with pride and concern.
