We enjoyed the ice cream and waffle cones but did find the "farm stand" portion to be lacking. Not much produce, they did have lots of canned items. I purchased pickled okra (which tasted great) and later read the label to see what they pickled it with. That is when I saw it had yellow dye as an ingredient. I thought that was odd for a local farm to put in their canned goods. Then I saw on the front of the label that said they were pickled "for" the farm. Something to consider if you factor that into a purchase. Either way, a worth it stop for a sweet treat.

For a place called Big Scoop, we got pretty small scoops of ice cream. When we checked out at the counter, Kate helped us out again. She was very encouraging and was so excited to have us in town for the tulip festival. I hope Kate gets a raise or goes far in life!
