I let it pick randomly because I didn't have a preference. You do have to pay a deposit and they have a no show policy but I totally get it so it wasn't a huge deal. The salon is pretty. Super clean. Lots of plants. And everyone was friendly. Madeline was my stylist and I highly recommend her. She was professional and friendly. She did a great job with my haircut and it feels and looks so much better. She didn't rush and was lovely overall. I'll definitely return and I highly recommend you visit.

Here's how the story went... after my first hair wash with the new set of fresh extensions I felt the extensions didn't blend well with my natural hair, I texted her, she got me back in. After about a month went by, I still felt the extensions were still not blending, texted her, no reply. The following day one of the wefts came loose and was hanging from the weft that was still sewn onto my scalp. I texted her and she finally replies with, "I can take a look at your weft but as these issues have been a repeated issue I think maybe another extension stylist would be best for you and your hair needs moving forward". I was so confused by this. After the initial install, mind you, I had only seen her once for her to try to blend my natural hair with the extension after she had told me to come back if I felt we needed to cut more. What it came down to, in a nutshell, was that she told me she could "no longer fix my hair multiple times after a service for free". Ok, cool. The problem I had was she never explained this in the beginning and what was confusing is she told me to come back after the initial install if I felt the hair still wasn't blended enough. I didn't appreciate the fact that she made it seem like I had been in "multiple times" after the initial install and was getting free services, not true. If she would have told me in the beginning any services after a month (which I totally get) will require a charge, but instead she tells me it would be a good idea to see someone else moving forward. She obviously was not great at communicating this to me at any given moment. I had just spent a fair amount of money on having her install new extensions (if you've had extensions, you know how expensive that can be) and whenever I came in for services, she never expressed this to me which is why this was all a shock to me. Now, I have to find someone to fix the weft (that's currently hanging from my sew in) and do more blending. Although, she did tell me she would fix it, why would I feel comfortable sitting in her chair after she tells me another extension stylist would be better for my hair needs. No thanks, I'll just move on. I did think to myself, after all this time I've been going to see her you would think she would value her clients a little more but she never once said I'm so sorry for the confusion or I'm sorry your extension fell out, nothing. It was like it was my fault the extensions weren't to my liking. I mean after all, she was the one that did the work. Lastly, I never had this problem with the first set of extensions she did for me and those lasted over a year. I guess she doesn't value her clients or the money that's being spent for her services like I thought she did.

She recently did my hair again in July 2020 and I LOVE it. Because I'm the type to only go to get my hair done twice a year, she gave me a balayage that will be low maintenance.
