So I've said this before and I'll say it again. Locating a truly talented bladesmith is extremely hard to find these day but M1rror Edge fixed me up right! He arrived on time and ready to get started sharpening. It took about 30 mins for a set of 7 knives of varying sizes. The final price was perfect and right in my price range. I was quoted 80$ for just 6 knives by another mobile service in the area which I thought was pretty darn steep. My knives came out beautifully and extremely sharp. Mobile Knife shop! And an excellent price too for an aging old knife I had been carrying around since my Navy days. I chipped it lifting off the lid of a paint can and M1rror Edge was helpful in coming to my place of work to fix it up! Only took about 10 mins. It's super sharp again like the day I bought it and while it is a 1/4 shorter the angle of the cutting edge is the same. I was just stupid and broke the tip. Won't make that mistake again. Eddie's work is exceptional! He worked on several of my Benchmade, Gerber, and Kershaw knives. He also worked on some Henckles kitchen knives and a handmade Damascus pattern sword. All my knives now have a super sharp edge that will easily shave hair, my knives have never been this sharp ever! The best results was my Damascus pattern sword, it originally came with a good edge and is super cool just as it was, but he took the edge above any expectations and even made the handle shine like polished gold! Eddie was AMAZING- he took his time to educate us on the proper use of our sharping tools as well as on how to extend the life of our knives. I was referred by a barber to Eddie as to being the source to have my straight razor sharpened. The razor mentioned was my grandfathers and passed down to me and has much sentimental value. Eddie showed up at the house on time and went to work on the razor. He explained why it was made as it is and proceeded to show me how to sharpen it. He allowed me to watch as he went through the steps of proper sharpening. He also showed me how to use the razor strap and told me how to care for both. I wish I could put in this review how concerned and informative he was to assure I could properly care for my heirloom.
