This gives great confidence and allows me to monitor and followup on any warnings usimg the Moen app. I very highly recommend Buckeye P&D and the Moen backup monitor. Moen help line is also very helpful when an I question and issues arise with the Moen sump pump backup system ... :)

The old sump pump (10 years old) was working fine but based on the expected lifecycle I wanted to be proactive. I already have a Generac 15 KW backup power generator (natural gas powered) so we did not need to put in a battery powered backup. The install took 2-3 hours. Absolutely super 100% job. In May 2024 my sub pump in my house failed and a nice guy by the name of Nick came and replaced my…read moresub pump taking only 10 to 15 minutes to do the job and I was charged $650. Now here we are in April 2026 my sub pump failed again. I called and was told that my previously purchased sub Pump was under a three-year warranty so I would not have to pay for a new sub pump just labor cost. Someone came out and told my husband the cost would be $450 to replace the sub pump and then suggested he buy a better sub pump with the labor would be $750. My husband requested I only want the sub pump I purchased with the warranty. I do not need the labor. The plumber then left refusing to give us our sub pump and said that's not how we do business. IT WAS NOT DOCUMENTED that it's only under warranty if their plumber replaces it. I've called and inquired of the sub pump we purchased and they told me they would get back to me and have never gotten back to me. They are in fact avoiding me Getting a Lawyer by the way!
