Upon pulling up alongside the van, I noticed the driving was smoking a cigarette while driving. Smoking cigarettes in a medical transportation van. Are you kidding me? This has to be the absolutelworst company if they allow their drivers to smoke inside the vehicles. I haven't done business with this organization, but based on the quality of their staff, I'd be very weary using them for your loved ones. Photo of the vehicle driving like an idiot and smoking is attached.

This company doesn't answer their phone or call you back. I…read morecalled this company due to their awesome reviews on YELP. I had called a week before to get a reservation to get a ride from the hospital after an outpatient procedure. The phone rang and rang and then finally says their VM is full but you can send a TEXT. I called back again and amazingly the gentleman who own the company answers the phone...but he states he needs to call back later because he doesn't have his schedule. He calls back this one time and I miss the call because I was at dinner and decide it is too late so I call back the next day several times with no response-I sent texts and called at different times a day. So finally I call from another number and he picks up. I tell him who I am and he says that due to his pricing he is basically overstretched, but he says he will call me back later with a time. Well, my procedure is done and I ended up using a company who actually has someone to pick you up and drop you off. 1. If you can't fit me in do not lie and say you're going to call back. 2. Don't avoid your customers. 3. Don't play around with peoples lives-If you are medical based service you are not only playing with the patients schedule but in my case the schedules of the doctor...nurses and anesthesiologist.

I would NEVER recommend Cali Van Medical Transportation! I had a scheduled procedure that required…read moreanesthesia, and I would need a driver to get me home. I contacted Cali Van and spoke with Nick. I explained the situation and my needs, as I would need no special equipment. I was informed that this is a common service they provide. This conversation took place on a Monday, and the upcoming Thursday was the day of the procedure. I was also told I just needed to give the company information to the medical staff so they would know who would be picking me up, and they would be able to coordinate the discharge time with their arrival. I used ride share to get to the procedure location. I gave the contact information to the nurse, who told me my transportation would need to be confirmed before the procedure could even begin. I was later informed they were not able to connect with anyone at Cali Van, and the voicemail was full. I then started calling and had the same result; no answer, and the voicemail was full. I'm now starting to panic because I had prepared for the procedure, and I had confirmed with Nick the date and time of my transportation need. Fortunately, I was able to find someone else to pick me up after the procedure. It's been approximately 3 weeks since this happened, and neither Nick nor anyone else from Cali Van has attempted to contact me to acknowledge their failure to be available for my scheduled pickup after a medical procedure. The lack of professionalism from Cali Van was unacceptable, stressful, and inexcusable for a company that is working with people in sensitive medical situations. Who just ignores a confirmed medical transportation appointment pickup? Cali Van Medical Transportation does!

Because of her narrow staircase which has a 90-degree turn to get upstairs to her bedroom, we HAD to have a "stair chair." I called several companies until I found Cali Van. Mom (95 yrs old) had a fractured leg and had to be handled very carefully to avoid any unnecessary pain and Jasur treated her with kid gloves. The price was more than reasonable. They were on time (actually early!). With all the stress associated getting Mom home & coordinating all the other services, Cali Van was the ONLY ONE that performed seamlessly and didn't add to my stress level. I'm extremely grateful to have found them and recommend them highly.

I called earlier today with a simple question about renting a hospital bed for my father. I wasn't asking for same-day delivery or even delivery this week. When I didn't receive a call back, I called again and was told their delivery person was out due to surgery, which I completely understood. However, when I mentioned that we currently use another medical supply company, I was asked, "Well, why don't you have them deliver it?" I explained that I was simply trying to give a local business an opportunity since they are closer to us. The response and tone felt unnecessarily dismissive, especially considering I was calling about medical equipment for my father. I ended the call by saying I would look elsewhere, and was simply told, "Okay, sure, have a good day."
