Margaret is fantastic! She has been doing my hair for about 2 years now. color, cut- the whole deal. I used to to go to Julian Farel in New York City and before that Kenneth. A big move and a baby brought me south and i so glad i found someone like Margaret who is very current with hair trends, has a lovely attitude and most importantly is as good, if not better than my stylist and colorist in NY. Side note, if you are used to NY prices you will be thrilled with the bill. Margaret recently opened her own salon! I am very particular with hair color, cut and style but I finally found this amazing hair salon while on vacation in Florida. This is the hidden little jewel of the Palm Beaches. The owner, Margaret Ocasio, is a real artist who takes her time and cares about you, making sure you look good. Margaret is very professional and she knows exactly what color or technique is the right one for you. Not only she is exceptionally skilled as a colorist but she is amazing in cutting and styling. She took me with no advance appointment on a Friday(which that is always a busy day for all business). I had a Sweet 15 the next day for my daughter so I know I would have no time to do it on Saturday. I got a hair cut and color. I was so impressed that I made and appointment for my daughters the following Saturday. Mind you they have really thick curly hard to manage hair. But she took care of them the following Saturday one of my daughters wanted the blond tips on her curls and both got some treatment to help with the frizzing. Listen, I'm VERY picky when it comes to who cuts my hair. I'm also from out of town, so I wasn't sure I'd find someone in Lake Worth I'd trust enough to cut my hair. (Especially considering I get a significant amount cut.) Margaret and her salon are SO welcoming. I found her via Yelp and her reviews sold me to try her out. Hiding in plain sight! Must have walked by thousands of times on my morning Ocean walk. Needed a cut and greys covered - did a quick Google search in my 33460 zip and Voila! Maggie! (xoxo) Rave reviews and I now know why. Talent/magic...whatever you want to call it, Margaret's got it. Great salon vibe, too. Some neat coloring techniques I haven't experienced before. Margaret is amazing! I showed her a photograph of what I wanted and she did exactly that and it turned out perfect. She is super friendly and her salon is really nice and clean. There is parking right out front and the location is right next to several shops and restaurants. Margaret can literally do anything from all different colors, cuts, and styles. I asked her for an ombre balayage and she was able to lighten my hair beautifully with no damage. I will definitely be going back and referring her to my friends and I've never trusted anyone with my hair. read more

Proprietor and resident genius Margaret Ocasio cuts hair like a sculptor: all perfect lines, waves and curls. Or if you prefer, absolutely straight. I found MOcasio's on YELP, and as it's located in my old neighborhood, I gave it a try. It's fairly new and the tiniest bit primitive, but this woman's talent makes all the difference in the world. Wow!! I have been looking for a great colorist and hair stylist in my area for a while. After reading numerous reviews I decided to make an appointment for a color correction after I decided to try and do my own hair (did a terrible job) Margaret blended my roots, refreshed my yellowish blond highlights, trimmed my hair and I got a few fun blue semi permanent pieces in front. I came in for the first time looking for a good hair salon that is convenient and close and I can tell you I was extremely happy. The place is beautiful and clean and very much what I look for as a hair salon. Margaret is wonderful very professional and gives you just what you want and ask for.
