No idea if it is the material or the length they are objecting to. My son got away with wearing his sister's bikini bottoms but, as you can imagine, he was not keen on doing so. But once you've obeyed the dress code it is a lovely place with a water slide, a big pool, a smaller pool that is deep enough to learn to swim but not deep enough to scare you and all the other things that French pools so so well - so you could easily spend most of a day here (though it gets cheaper after 5pm)

There are 3 parcours in the trees, one for small kids from 4 to 8 or more years old, it is a good start to take confidence, and 2 parcours for adults (4m high and 10m high). After a putting on a safety vest, you will be iven a short security talk on how to behave on the parcours. Nothing difficult but common sense rules, required to have fun afterwards. You will walk through tyroliennes, still and moving bridges, fun nets, and other fun structures to cross. We had a lot of fun, not only with our 2 kids (6 and 8 years old) but as adults on the higher parcours. A little rest area is available and usual sweets can be purchased. Only sugary drinks, not much there to say. Easy parking and great location to spend an afternoon as a family or as a group of friends. You can celebrate birthdays.

We had an amazing time, the staff is amazing, it's top-tier service was delightful. They have an amazing fleet of boats for every occasion: We went fishing with a fully equipped boat, then water skiing with a specialised boat (and the skipper was actually an ex-swiss champion!), they showed us all of Geneva shores, the best spot to go swimming, etc... I can't be enthusiast enough about these guys: They are around 25 years old, always with a big smile and very polite! They can be really professional (they're Swiss), but they still took good care of the kids, helped us to take amazing pictures. The peak was probably in August when we rented a boat with them to see the famous Geneva firework from the lake: I was speechless! Hope these guys will have a good run, they deserve it! We went up the mountain in summer and it was just SO Heidi. Apart from the mountain bikers who use…read morethe cable cars to get to the top of the mountain and then provide entertainment for the more staid walkers and sightseers by plunging back down the mountain with (apparently) no fear. But if you ignore the mad bikers you can walk for miles on the top of the Jura mountains enjoying the most wonderful views of the Alps, Lake Leman, Cern, the airport, the other mountains. You'll meet cows with bells on and see where the skiing takes place in the winter. At the top of the cable car there is a restaurant and with a balcony terrace so you can enjoy the view (and watch the bikers disappearing down what seems to be a sheer drop). Can't wait for the winter when it opens again for the skiing. (Which reminds me - it is best to check on the website for the opening days and times. We went the next week with friends from England only to find it was shut for the autumn even though it was still August and amazing weather).

Head into the office in the center of town, make a reservation, and show up the morning of the trip with your skis, lunch, and a sense of adventure. The Vallee Blanche was definitely a bucket list item for me, and I hit it on an absolutely fantastic day. It was a few days after a storm, so there was plenty of untracked powder up top and the actual day was a blue sky perfect day. The guides provide you with harnesses and beacons, and are there to guide you to past the dangers of skiing on a glacier. I was expecting a harder day, but the route was not nearly as tough as some of the on-piste routes in the lift served areas. Our group was about 8 strong, and we tackled the run in stages, heading off at a stagger and regrouping along the way. The views are magnificent, and you get the feeling of skiing in areas that beyond the reach of most people, even if a cable car took you to the top. The flats at the bottom can be tiring, and the climb out of the glacier for the train ride back to town was actually the hardest part of the day (thank you global warming).
