This place and the small town around it are literally out of the Beauty and the Beast movie. Dare I…read moresay... BETTER. It is the most picturesque you can get! We were here for the Tour de France and Basecamp was our go-to for the few days we vacationed in the French countryside. This cute coffee shop is located in Talloires. They are also a wonderful bike shop! The coffee is delightful but it was the scenery and ambiance that just take your breath away. The owners and workers are the nicest. We loved this cafe so much we bought shirts. :)

Empty. Deserted and definitely most convenient in terms of renting a snowboard/ski gear. Sadly, my…read moreboyfriend's bindings were smooshed during flight and needed to rent new ones. Apparently just renting bindings is unheard of and well the price of a board and bindings rivaled those of Sports Basement in California. $10 for 1 day for just bindings and a board. Not bad. Definitely go here as the other rental place (near to the parking) is way too crowded. Also it's right next to the ticket booth and restrooms so double score!
