They offer a huge variety of magazines suited to all ages and interestes. They have a big variety of soft drinks in large and small bottles and cans, ice creams, crisps, sandwiches, pasties, sweets and chocolates. They also offer a good range of groceries such as coffee, tea, tinned goods and bread which might not be as cheap as those from a supermarket, but are conveninent for the location. They also offer bill payment facilities. The shop is frequented by many school children as there are a few schools nearby, but as the shop is quite big you never feel intimidated or pushed out when several children are in there at once. The staff are quietly friendly and happy to help.

It's not really that there's anything wrong with it…read moreexcept that the exterior looks about 300 years old (in a bad way), it's small, in a kind of shady-looking area of Seacombe (in my opinion), and kind of feels like the sort of place a character in a horror movie would accidentally wander into at the wrong time of night ... It's also interestingly right across the street from a convenience store, begging the question, how can these two survive in such close proximity? And why bother? Still, as the old battle cry is beginning to ring true--if you have got to have that newspaper now, you can always find it here.

In reality though, Carty's News is not owned by Mr. Carty, nor is it a shop dedicated solely to stories about him and his recent acting roles. Instead, Carty's News is your basic newsagent that offers a large selection of newspapers and magazines for your perusal, ensuring most publications are stocked here. They also sell the usual array of drinks and confectionary at competitive (if expensive) prices as well as stationary and 'pet goods', though those last two are in no way related to one another, thankfully. All in all, Carty's News is a pleasant enough newsagent that offers you everything you'd want in a newsagent without being too mind-blowing (but then again, what newsagents is?)

They sell magazines, confectionary and cigaretes. I think the staff in here are lovely and very helpful. The lady who works there did a lucky dip for me the other week and i won a tenner i think shes my lucky charm! :) The only bad thing about this shop is that it is very VERY small. It only fits about 3 people in at a time! Quite often they have offers on their magazines chocolates. I like to get a good bargain from here. Also they have just started selling wispas again so i ithink im guna stock up!

This little newsagents is great for a little village, it does newspaper deliveries. Sells…read moremagazines, sweets, basic stationary essentials for the kids etc you can even get a pint of milk from here. The staff are very friendly too
