Our Dream Home Became a Reality! Thank You, Am.On Roofing & Remodeling…read more I want to start this review by sharing a little about our journey and how we ended up here. We're originally from the Portland, Oregon area, and back in July 2024, we began our search for a new place to call home -- somewhere with warmer weather, a slower pace of life, and a community where we could truly belong. At first, we explored Arizona, focusing on Tucson and the surrounding areas, but nothing felt right. We didn't find the sense of home we were searching for. So, we widened our search and discovered Chaparral, New Mexico -- and everything changed. The very first home we looked at in this up-and-coming area was built by Am.On Roofing & Remodeling, owned by Homar Navarrete. At the time, we didn't know Homar had built it, but we decided to make the four-hour drive from Tucson to Chaparral. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love -- with the desert views, the warm and welcoming community, and the beautiful craftsmanship of the home we viewed. That day sparked the beginning of our dream. Meeting the Dream Team Our realtor, Heather Hamilton from Coldwell Banker Las Cruces, introduced us to Homar Navarrete and his amazing team at Am.On Roofing & Remodeling. We also had the pleasure of meeting Deyra Loya, Tanya Ocampo, and later Aurora Nunez. Homar walked us through several of his finished builds, and every single one was modern, elegant, and beautifully crafted. While we were impressed by each home, we realized we wanted something uniquely ours -- a custom home that reflected our style, our needs, and our vision. Homar made that possible! The Journey to Our Custom Home We began working closely with Homar, his incredible team, and our realtor Heather to bring our dream to life. We never imagined we'd be able to build a custom home, but Homar gave us the confidence and guidance to make it happen. The process wasn't always easy -- there were moments of impatience and bumps along the way -- but Homar's professionalism, Aurora's constant communication, and the entire team's dedication made all the difference. Even though we were 1,600 miles away in Oregon, we always felt connected and informed. From choosing colors and layouts to selecting lighting and finishes, every detail was thoughtfully planned and perfectly executed. A Home Built with Heart In August 2025, our dream became a reality when we moved into our custom-built home. Walking through the front door -- that oversized, beautiful door we fell in love with on day one -- was one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives. Homar's craftsmanship is exceptional. Every detail, every finish, and every design decision reflects his passion and skill. He and his team went above and beyond to ensure that our vision came to life -- and they succeeded beyond our expectations. We also want to thank our realtor Heather for connecting us to Homar and guiding us through every step of the process, and our finance partner George for helping us make it possible. Together, they made what felt impossible become real. Feeling at Home in Chaparral Now that we're here, we couldn't be happier. We love, love, love our new home and feel so welcomed into this amazing community. We're excited to create beautiful memories here and start this next chapter of our lives. If you're searching for a dedicated, trustworthy, and talented team to build your dream home, look no further than Homar and the Am.On Roofing & Remodeling family. Their work speaks for itself, but what sets them apart is how much they care. From start to finish, we felt supported, valued, and treated like family. We are forever grateful. Thank you, Homar, Aurora, Tanya, Deyra, Heather, George, and everyone who helped make this possible. From Gary, Levin and dogs (Cooper, Gizmo, & Kona) Portland, Oregon to now Chaparral, New Mexico.

They did such an amazing job. Here's why they got 5 stars from me: -answered every call and text in a timely manner. -quality quality quality work (example, they didn't cheap out with the poles but got sturdy thick 2.5" diameter ones). -communication is stellar, they are great at letting you know the status (example, I added another pole but they couldn't come until they finished their job they were working on and they made sure I knew that before they accepted the job). -they also fixed my rockwall where it was cracking. -they clean up after themselves and do the right thing by the client by keeping things neat and organized. -they warranty their work (one of the poles didn't set correctly so they redid the whole thing to make it right). I would highly recommend them and will use them again when we build outdoor patio bbq and redo our flooring and kitchen. They also helped us fix electrical problems that another electrician left.

I do not live in El Paso anymore but needed someone to paint my rental property. Caesar and his crew at CR Painting exceeded my expectations. They finished a day early and completed all of the necessary work for my home. I gave him an idea of what I wanted done to my home and he gave me a good faith estimate. He called me everyday with updates and even sent pictures to me along with the invoice over the email as requested. I felt comfortable knowing that he was taking care of my home. Even when I sent my cousin to take a look at the home and make sure everything was in order, they (homeowners too) wanted to hire him to complete some painting in their home. I would definitely recommend CR Painting to any person who feels like they need a trustworthy contractor. He is honest and does awesome work. Even though the previous reviews did not say too much, I wanted to make sure that my review outlined the level of excellent customer service that his company provided me. Especially since I do not live in the city and we had an agreement over the phone, he did everything i needed him to do and more. Please hire this company. You will not be disappointed. (Side Note: he only took care of the interior of my home. I am sure the exterior work will be just as nice when the time comes for me to get it painted)
