Udhoo tells me soon after the rain stops. Ok, rain stops and no Udhoo. Call again and says he's sending his guys to do. 3 weeks past and no Udhoo. In between all of this were several lies and no shows, and at the end all I had was a severely overgrown Lawn. In the end I wish I never contacted this contractor. Knowing that the company wants to be paid on the spot, I take that Monday off from work to be there to pay and consult with the technician. Unfortunately, Schodack Septic never shows up and does not contact me to let me know they won't be able to make it. Tuesday morning they call me to say they are coming out to pump the tank and I let the person on the phone know that I will not be home. We agree that they will do the work and the office would call me later to get payment. When they get there, the tech harrasses my daughter and mother-in-law demanding payment...he calls me on my cell interupting my meeting to ask for payment that I am not able to give at that moment. I tell him to have his office call me later in the day to get payment which he agrees to. 5 minutes later I get interupted by anther call from...you guessed it...their office... After my meeting, I call them back to make the payment and voice my displeasure with the service... the women on the phone was boarderline nasty and offered nothing but a poor, insincere appology. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service and after this occasion, I would not recommend Schodack Septic to anyone.

It would be an understatement that my project was complicated and intimidating. Sitting on a 50 +…read morefoot high cliff, I had a retaining wall separating from my backyard in desperate need of replacement. Limited access to the property and backyard further complicated the scope and ease of executing this project. My wife and I solicited several inquiries from different contractors, and were only made more aware of the complications and challenges ahead based upon the lack of willingness many demonstrated in taking on this project for us. Finding a contractor willing to navigate the challenges of the property while executing within a realistic timeline and within an affordable price seemed impossible. That was until we spoke with Maggio. Artie was confident from day one that he and his team would be able to create an attainable resolution. Artie and his team came up with several approaches we could take on executing the retaining wall replacement, provided us a reasonable price, and then met every benchmark set during our project planning and execution. While on site, Maggio's team was efficient and effective proceeding with care and safety but working at a pace that exceeded our expectations. The completed work is gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations for what our backyard would look like. It's already been such a tremendous relief to have our backyard secured, rebuilt, and drained correctly to avoid erosion damage like we experienced with the previous retaining wall. Through the entire process, we felt like Maggio was working with us to succeed on this project and continually exceeded our expectations. I have no doubt now that not only was Maggio the right team for this project, but the right team for any future landscaping/hardscaping projects that remain for my property in the future.
