Every other place told me that I should just take down the existing 300+ stones and start over, and of course they would give me a deal if I went to them for the new stones. When a company is willing to give advice to someone over the phone, and not just trying to sell you something, it shows great service. And it's cheaper to come here than buy online and pay for shipping! The staff is very knowledgeable and can order items for projects if they don't currently have it stocked in the store or warehouse. This particular location is in a Home Depot shopping center, and Home Depot offers rentals, so why…read morewould anybody choose Sunbelt over Home Depot? After my first visit to Sunbelt, my question is why anybody would go to Home Depot to rent anything. Sunbelt offers a LOT of items Home Depot doesn't. I needed an electric stair-climbing hand truck, and Sunbelt offers two (Home Depot doesn't offer these at all). Not sure what I needed, I was EXTREMELY grateful for the hugely thorough knowledge of the employee who helped me choose. He took me back to the equipment area, and showed me both, explaining all of the subtle differences I'd never have thought to ask. One was smaller and lighter, would fit into my car, but does not offer powered stair descent, and can only climb one stair at a time. The other was heavier duty (for gun safes, and the like, per the extraordinarily helpful employee), offers powered ascent and descent, and can span several stairs at a time. The unit itself, though, is VERY heavy, and would need a truck to transport (he said they typically use its own power to load it into peoples' trucks). The employee showed me exactly how to operate it, and happily explained their pricing and rental periods. Picking it up took longer than I'd have expected (20 minutes, roughly), because the customer doing their equipment pickup ahead of me in line was picking up a giant wood chipper designed to be towed trailer-style by a truck. The employee hitched the unit to the customer's truck, connected to safety chains, properly crossed over each other, connected the brake lights, and gave the customers a full tutorial on how to transport and use the equipment. Had I undertaken such a rental on my own, I'd have been EXTREMELY grateful for this care and time taken, so I was happy to wait. You seriously cannot go wrong with Sunbelt. I can't recommend them highly enough.

He said that's the best they have and wouldn't let us pick through the pile for some that would work for us. Went inside to get refund, clerk told us that's how all of their 8ft lumber is.
