The last time I was here was back in May for Cinco de Mayo, and I might have stopped by again in the summer, but I went again last night to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it reminded me why this is still my go-to spot. Right now they're running a special where $1 from every pink margarita (made with grapefruit!) goes to the Breast Cancer Foundation such an awesome cause. Our server was fantastic (I wish I remembered his name!), super sweet and explained everything clearly. The service was top-notch and the food was incredible and the calamari were cooked perfectly and everything we ordered was delicious. It happened to be Taco Tuesday, so the place was busy and buzzing with energy -- there were even a few birthdays being celebrated! I was there to make some content and noticed a few other foodies and bloggers doing the same. All in all, this is still a 10/10 location for me. It's always my go-to, and I can't recommend it enough. She brought the check, we paid, stood to leave and she said thank you as my husband handed the check back to her. He quickly mentioned it was our anniversary, she stopped and asked if we would want to sit back down and she would bring us a dessert. It was nice to offer, but she could have learned this if she would have taken a moment to talk to us. We didn't need a long conversation, just to feel welcome, and we felt in the way as they were busy.
