Enjoyed my visit at 3 amigos with family. It was my first time here, but it definitely won't be my last. The food was delicious and well seasoned. The atmosphere was lively and appropriate for all ages. Our server was sweet but busy as the restaurant was packed. Our group came at a good time as we had less then a 5 minute wait. On our way out there were people waiting with over 25 minute wait. I can't help but recommend this place to anyone who is interestedy in great Mexican food in the area.

Dios Mío. Exactly what I said when I found out this place was halal. And then I proceeded to ándale my way to the doors. The interior is covered in Mexican culture and art, with paintings of el día de los muertos and the colourful tables with swings for chairs giving it a Latino touch. The service was excellent, and you're greeted with homemade nachos and salsa whilst getting ready to choose from the extensive menu. As there was on offer for Tacos on Monday, we made full use of these ! I tried the chicken, beef and chilli con carne. All were flavoursome and tasty, the shells were crispy and the fillings were delicious. Accompanied with this, I had the margarita lime classic, perfect for me as I love sour drinks although if you're not a fan of sour things, steer clear as it was (basically) pure lime juice. As it was my friend's birthday , they surprised him with a sombrero to keep and a churro with ice-cream, singing cumpleaños feliz! It was a great finish to a lovely meal. Would definitely come again!

Looking at previous pictures of the restaurant on Yelp, it seems like this location of 3 Amigos has gone through a serious revamp! The interior is absolutely gorgeous with swings at the bar, beautiful lighting and all types of seating - cosy banquettes, comfortable bar stools and a stunning terrace! Despite having lived in MTL for some time now, I had never thought to try 3 Amigos as had heard too many negative reviews. Having visited this particular location twice within a fortnight, I can vouch for the restaurant being worth visiting. On our first visit, we ordered an assortment from the menu (burritos, tacos, fajitas etc). Whilst we waited, we were given the complimentary nachos and salsa which tasted super fresh and flavourful. My favourite had to be the fajitas - mouth-watering beef and chicken pieces served on a sizzling plate accompanied by guacamole, salsa, sour cream and another bean type dip. The staff are super friendly and cheerful and informed us about the 89cents Tacos on Monday for which we returned! Taco Monday was packed at 3 Amigos with a line-up out front! You have the choice of beef, chicken, chili con carne and veg tacos to choose from which are 89cents as long as you purchase a drink. Absolutely delicious and not bad for an easy Monday dinner! The only downside was that it took forever for our order to arrive - we ordered a first large round of tacos which came after 30mins of waiting and then a second order which took around 20mins. Overall, a fantastic experience - can't believe I have missed out for so long! Gorgeous location, plenty of menu options and friendly staff. Looks like I will soon be a regular here!

Great Restaurant, You should go on Monday's 1$ per Taco and you have to try the Bulldog. the Staff is friendly and they do a Good Service.

Dying cacti kinda sum this experience up.

I lower my standards when it's on a "specials" night but this one takes the cake. Our waitress was nice, but she shouldn't be working as a waitress. Couldn't remember anything, forgot to bring certain things that were ordered, no personality, made excuses blablabla. She even tried to take away an appetizer 3 times despite the fact that we were clearly still eating off the plate, chip in hand, and had told her not to take it away. Speaking of the appetizer, for $8.50 that was a laughable "guacamole". I have frequented the 3 Amigos downtown so I knew what I was getting into, but this place doesn't make the cut. OH! AND SPEAKING OF CUTS. A pitcher of a beer was ordered for my mom and her +1. The first glass she received, broken. We ask to have it replaced when we noticed; no "oh sorry about that" or other comment that could be used to display ownership of the problem. She gets another glass, a few minutes later, this one cuts the palm of her hand. She excused herself and I pointed it out to the "manager" who yet again, didn't take ownership, only taking the glass away and bringing back another having poured her beer from the first glass to another. YOU DON'T DO THAT. THATS A 101 LEVEL ERROR. ANY decent manager or bartender would know that if the glass is broken, inside our out, you toss the drink. So this third glass comes right? And we're like "wow these people don't know what they're doing". So we're looking at this glass and notice not one, but TWO places that this glass is broken and can cut someone. THIRD TIME FOR THE SAME PERSON. Not one of you was bright enough to LOOK at the glass first? Real promising that the broken glass that was handed back to the bartender was put right back in the dishes with the others. All in all, the food was lackluster (but to be fair we knew that going in), but the complete lack of service, ownership and restaurant common sense was mind boggling. The birthday girl left with a cut on her hand and not a single staff member showed a sign of giving a f***. We didn't even bother going for the cake/sombrero despite having 2 people at the table celebrating their birthdays, we just wanted to get out of there.

My friends and I stopped here after going to watch a movie. We decided to share the Bandeja de Botana 3 Amigos as an entree. Everything was delicious and would have been enough food itself after all the popcorn eating. I also had the Tacos de Camerones Al Pastor, if I wasn't so full I would have definitely enjoyed this more because it was fantastic. I chose the mojito peche out of their long list of drinks and it was also delicious. My friends had the chimichangas and the enchiladas and also thought their plates were good. The decorations are super over the top and are great for conversation starters while you wait for your food. There were tons of staff waiting around but we had very minimal service at our table. All in all, a good restaurant to go if you are a big group or if you are looking for a little something different.

Service was very slow. Cactus tasted foul. Massive amounts of coriander added to fajitas even though we specifically asked for no coriander.

We were seated right away. The waitress staff was able to quickly get our orders. The only downside with the wait staff was they seemed a bit pressured for us to keep ordering though we had only stopped by for drinks and to kill time before going to another location. The drinks were delicious. The Cafe con leche was just the right consistency of creaminess without being a pudding consistency or too thick. I love the banana chips as a garnish on top. It was a nice touch. The mela mama loco was a hint of sweet and sour. The tiki takata was pretty while being deliciously tropical. The summer mule had a refreshing flavor and spritz to the drink. I really liked that the chips were thick and didn't break when trying to get a decent amount of the dip onto it. I would highly recommend to ask for the hot sauces. They have 4 varieties to try from sweet to hot. Overall would come again on an empty stomach to try other foods they have available.

I wanted to get nachos but changed my mind for a burrito bowl. Seems like a safer option also 18$ instead of 30$. Food was good, but I expected more then chipotle. 14$ for that small portion of guacamole. I know avocados are expensive...but... I didn't try a drink but they did look pretty good.

You have a choice of 5 different tacos for the AYCE menu ( carnitas, steak, pastor, chorizo, and veggie). My favourites were the steak, carnitas, and pastor. You get two sauces on the side and every taco is garnished with onions and coriander with a lime wedge for each taco you order. They are so good and bite sized, my friends and I had 13-15 tacos each and we were so full by the end but so content. For all you can eat it is a great deal. The service is also very fast which is good because they keep the tacos coming. I've also been during non AYCE days and have tried the burrito (huge and flavourful and filling), and the chips and guac (good!), and the steak quesadilla (one of my favourites! so gooey and cheesy). I recommend also getting the hojicha drink! It's milky and refreshing. You can't go wrong with this place. Everything on the menu is good and staff is really friendly. The space is also very big and there's a good variety of tables and booths. Has lots of decorations on the walls and theme music playing.
