I hired them to thin out a large locust tree in my backyard which had not been trimmed in 18 years and the lowest part of the canopy was dying due to a fungus infection. Nicolas came by the day after I called and provided a very comprehensive and competitive estimate. Two days later, he and Riley were able to start the work. The job was bigger than expected once they uncovered the full extent of the dead branches but they advised me of the best course of action and completed the job with no issues. They fully cleaned up the job site and hauled away a significant amount of dead branches. The tree looks fantastic with no signs of infection. I will use Winning Landscaping again as I need other tree work and landscaping done. They are reliable, thorough and very good to work with which can be very tough to find these days.

We hired Painted Plains to help us Xeriscape our backyard. They came over and talked with us…read moreextensively about special considerations in our yard. They told us that they would get back to us in two weeks with a design proposal---which they did. We had very few suggestions to make---it looked great! However, we were limited with our budget. Painted Plains has helped us figure out how to divide the project into three stages, so it's easier on our pocketbook. They started our project in June and finished in July. After even just one month, we couldn't believe how established and healthy the plants looked. And the yard is so interesting and colorful now! Painted Plains uses many native plants---and we haven't lost one plant yet. (Which is a miracle, since we don't have the greenest of thumbs!) Also, Painted Plains set us the watering system and left us detailed, easy-to-follow instructions. We are starting on the second phase of our design this summer, and we can't wait to see the transformation!
