With specific electric outage switch issues throughout the new (but dated) place (ie kitchen, dining room and bedrooms). I thought I was being Punk'd - I haven't even unpacked! BASED ON A REFERRAL Called HIGGINS ELECTRIC - I spoke to Theresa (so nice and solution-oriented), who put me at ease and ultimately dispatched some of their best electricians, Krista and Bob! Krista and Bob both came (after confirming every step of the way via text or call/ their arrival, next steps etc)... masked, helpful, kind, friendly- PROFESSIONAL -- straight to the point. Like CSI-"Where's this issue!? What did you experience, etc" They both went to their detective work. Very thorough, asking questions and checking outlets and overhead wiring, panels, etc. THE SOLVE/RESOLUTION HIGGINS ELECTRIC TEAM soon identified a a random switch outlet in the condo that was rigged to control all those rooms (who knew?) I needed an outlet installed for a new tankless water heater that I was planning to have installed. As I was getting estimates for the new tankless water heater, my old water heater started leaking a lot of water into my laundry/utility room, so I needed to act quickly. When he came out to estimate the outlet installation he asked if I had found a plumber yet for the water heater installation. I told him I had an estimate from a local company but I thought it was kind of high. The two other plumbers who I had estimates from we are no longer able to take the job because of staffing issues due to COVID-19. Dave said he knew a good plumber and called him on the spot. He FaceTimed so that the plumber could see the job. The plumber he recommended was able to give me an estimate within a couple of hours. And came in $700 lower than the previous plumbers estimate. Plus he could do the job the very next day. Hurray! The plumber that Dave recommended came out and did a great job on the tankless water heater installation! They worked in a tight space in an old house and even were able to run my vents up through an attic and crawlspace and out behind a chimney so that they cannot be seen from the front of the house. Then Independent Electric Services came out and did a perfect job on the outlet installation for which I had originally contacted them. If I had not called Independent Electric Services I would've spent more money on my water heater and I would probably still be trying to get the job done. Dave made it happen fast, competently, and at a great price! I cannot recommend this company enough.
