I was texted back by his Office and said yes! He requested a picture of the fans and a picture of the electrical panel. So, I provided everything he required for a quote and was told that Bob the Owner would provide a quote. A few days later, I reached out by text to the Office as I have been communicating with Pop's Electric and heard nothing in six days. Absolutely nothing! Easily five stars plus. George came in and worked all day of a Saturday. He was careful and paid attention to details. His work was clean and he did well above the minimum that we get with many people who come in to do work on the house. He set a reasonable price and stuck to it even though there we unexpected add ons- much of it cleaning up sloppy work done by previous electricians. He is the type of person that I always hope to find to have do work on our house: honest, straight-forward, careful and reliable. George was simply a pleasure to work with. I recommend GreekTek highly.

Positives: Tom was very responsive via text and email - he was one of the first electricians to respond and had one of the most competitive offers. He gave me specific Amazon links and directions about purchasing a switch which helped me feel confident in his skillset and also in the products I was purchasing. In addition, he helped me solve a mystery about some other lights in my house (turns out I just couldn't find the switch). Room for improvement: On the first day we arranged for the job, Tom was late to arrive and we had to reschedule because it passed the time when I could be home. However, he worked to make it right and showed up on time at the next arranged time. He also waived the switch fee to compensate me for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. Other areas for improvement are that they could have cleaned up better after they left - there was still a lot of debris on the ground and I had to mop twice. And the switch was not completely flush with the wall (they did try to make it right and get it flush with the wall after I pointed it out but it's not perfect, I will have to have someone adjust it). Would I recommend? Yes, I would recommend Fortech. I was happy with their service and would hire them again for an electrical job at my primary home or rental properties.

Ask them up front for licensing, insurance and if they are registered as electricians, plumbers, etc. The man who says that he is in charge is operating under the identity of another man listed as the business owner. They have different phone numbers and if you catch him off guard he will tell you his real name is either Lewis when his name is William :/ This young man sent out guys to my property that had no idea what they were doing. They tampered with both my electrical and plumbing and I had to have the work assessed by a professional and take pictures and make records of everything for legal reasons. It is very possible that many of these yelp reviews are from family and friends or paid third party. Be very careful who you let in your home.
