I rate them 5 stars, AAAAA, Top Shelf, etc., etc. Detail version: Recent hail in Killeen pretty much ended 6-year-old existing asphalt shingle roof. We are experienced with asphalt shingle; this was third roof damaged in 32 years from hail. Wanted metal roof because we're tired of roof repairs. Contacted 11 roofers in Killeen, Temple area, all were very busy due to tornado damage (same storm). We really didn't like the standing seam versions offered, but we were almost settled on it though, when we discovered metal shakes. No one locally was able to provide except at tremendously high prices. We made a call to Alliance after we saw their TEK Hurricane Shakes online. We expected an insane price and a gentle blow off, as we were on the far edge of their territory. Happily, Chris Anderson threw us the lifeline we hoped for. Very enthusiastic, very affordable price (higher than asphalt, of course, but competitive with flat metal roof offers). He drove down with full size samples in different colors, carried up on the roof to show different colors in sunlight and shadow, answered every technical question from me, and every aesthetic question from wife with the greatest respect. We had dealt with other roofers who tried to upsell us on other products, a couple had even tried very hard to tell us what we really wanted. Not Chris. He listened. He answered. No pressure. We shook hands and signed the contract, got on the schedule. Three weeks later, a tear-off crew arrived and pulled off all the asphalt and felt down to the bare decking. When finished, they cleaned it all up spotlessly. Good guys, stopped to entertain dumb questions from me and the wife and were very respectful. Chris was on site to inspect and be present for us. Great support. Next day the installers arrived and got right to work. As with the previous crew, these were smiling, happy men who took great care of us and treated us with the greatest respect. Very class act. As before, Chris and his assistant Levi (another great guy), were on site, taking care of the crew (it was 150 degrees on top of the roof), keeping safety first, answering every question and concern with kindness and respect, making sure everything was perfect as can be. At the end, Chris and me and wife did a thorough walk-around, she had questions, he had answers, and we were pretty much blown away by the final appearance and the evident quality of the work. We had to replace the gutters due to hail damage and age. Chris suggested that we contract a local company. We asked if he would manage that for us, he agreed, and some very fine-looking gutters are being installed as this is written. Once again, a fine crew and great responsiveness and respect for the customers. Summary: Outstanding presentation, planning and execution, superb work crews and supervisors (shout out to Mario!), great follow up, great support, great response, great price. They nearly exclusively handled the insurance portion which really simplified things for me, and were able to work with the adjuster to secure additional claims for a more complete repair/installation. Their communication and follow up was spot on as well. All in all, they made me feel very comfortable and confident throughout the entire process that my house and money we're in great hands. They're very confident in the product that they install and stand behind the quality. Everyone I worked with at Alliance MR has been great, particularly Logan and Chris, whom I even entrusted with a few design choices (I wasn't disappointed). It's taken for granted that a roofer should know how to roof, but all too many of them skimp on the details which can have varied effects. In every step of the process, Alliance Metal Roofing instilled confidence that they were the right people for the job. A common oversight in roofing are the subtle nuances of flashing or ventilation. They were able to remediate the ventilation issues that were causing heat damage to my old roof by adding vents that work in compliment with my existing vent system. Often enough, roofers will slap any old vent up there, but to ensure proper air flow, certain vent types should not be mixed. This is just one of many examples of their expertise, professionalism and attention to detail. Through the entire process they took great care to understand my concerns as well as my requests and all of that is evident in the final product. Bottom line: I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. If we get one of those crushing hail storms again, they'll be the first call I make.

The leaves had collected in a section over the garage causing water to back up under the shingles which caused water to run off into the garage. Not only did Daniel give me an estimate to fix the problem he got up on the roof with his blower and blew the leaves off so, if it rains again, I will know for sure that the problem was the result of the leaves and not hail damage. I've paid James Kate Construction over $18,000. I've worked with this company for several months to fix the issues that the company caused to my gutter screen. They sent someone to my home while I was at work attempting to get on my roof without my consent or knowledge. On 1/7/2022, I received a letter saying they would fix my gutter screens that they trashed and damaged at a additional fee. This is my experience. Beware.

I prefer dealing with the person who will be doing all the work. I did a lot of research on how Texas laws are different from other states and knew I had to go with Dennis. Just look at his website and you will get an education on roofing. Dennis uses only the best materials and names that I know and trust. Other companies will quote the work with companies I've never heard of. Their warranties on the labor will also be like 3 years instead of what Dennis will cover. You always want a contractor to communicate with you on everything and keep you informed. This was by far the best experience I've ever had with any contractor of any trade I've ever used.
