The home owner needed to use a wheel chair and the shorter toilet height was not ideal to use. Paul was very communicative about when he would arrive at the property. He had all the tools and quickly reviewed the job site and started working removing the two toilets. I had bought to new toilets only and I was not sure about if I needed to replace the water angle stop or supply line. He has the parts to do that, but after inspecting the valve and line confirmed we did not need to replace them if I did not want to. He expertly drained the toilet and was able to take it out of the home with no leaking water. Once the toilets were removed, he inspected the toilet ring flange and confirmed if the new toilet would be able to be securely installed. He scraped old caulking from the previous toilets and then started to install the new bolts and wax rings. Once the toilets were placed and tightened down, he checked the fit and if the toilets were "rocking" or not. One toilet did not have a flat surface, so he shimmed it for a solid fit. He didn't just stop there. Then he caulked around the base of the toilet and floor to make sure that any sewer gas would be contained if the wax ring had ever lost its seal. The caulking also made the finished toilet install look professional and finished. He then made sure to test out the toilets with a few flushes to make sure nothing was astray. This may sound like a long description, however I have never seen a plumber be so fast, clean and efficient. I have to say I never thought installing a toilet could be such a pleasant experience and I will definitely call him again for my plumbing needs.

Thursday, November 14, 2024 we faced a suddenly, broken toilet, with water leaking across the floor and into the basement. At 8am, I called in 'a favor' since they had installed our dishwasher, and somehow they were able to get John Tomas out within 2 hours and he was able to quickly diagnose the problem. What I didn't realize was that they weren't doing me a favor coming out in less than 2 hours, they recognized a leaking toilet to be a priority, and acted quickly. Not knowing the actual issue until arriving, some parts were needed so while he was here John realized our bathroom faucet cartridge was shot, so he offered to fix both the faucet and the toilet after getting the necessary parts.
