We also bought a gorgeous picnic basket for a pretty cheap price comparing to nearby antique stores ! This one was by far the best one with reasonable pricing. The lady was so sweet. I don't know if the employee knew how loud she was but we clearly heard her comment, "Every time people pass by that mirror they stop to take a picture. It's stupid. It's dumb." It dampened our moods completely. We didn't get to even finish looking at the front of the store. We put the item we had in our hand back in their place and left. Here are some of the pictures we managed to take before leaving. Update: upon further review a lot of recent reviews seem to be about the same women with the same common factor. She only provides terrible atmosphere and service to people of color. Which is very disappointing to see that so many customers come excited to come and explore to only leave feeling worse due to something we can't change. Some even requested just underwear that fit. Their needs were simple, and with the community donating wonderful items Bargain Box was able to make it happen. They are run by volunteers, and every penny goes to clothes for children in need. Everyone that works there is friendly and welcoming. It's so clean and inviting. I took an original canvas artwork that I wanted to be stretched to Frameworks though, and was not too impressed. It took them around a month to complete and the stretching job was so poor I took it to a different framer for a second opinion and had to have it re-stretched again. They charged me over $400 for the job, twice what I paid to have it redone properly and the canvas was wrapped so far round the back of the (poorly sized) stretcher bars that I lost over an inch of my painting round each edge. I suspect that they do not perform much of this type of work, I would have preferred to be informed that they were not too experienced so i could have avoided paying $400 to have my picture stretched poorly in the first place!
