There is only one negative I have found after almost a year of visiting this shop: the staff seem to dislike the customers. There is never a smile or a hello. They seem like they'd prefer to be a million miles away than working there. The last time I went, I asked for the staff to get me something from the showcase, I apologized for making her stop what she was doing to get it and she gave me the death glare. Another person noticed and mentioned it to me. I wish I could give it 5 stars but I think management has to improve to have happy workers.

The owner was there, she was funny and kind and very knowledgeable! Another highlight was a shock, the layout! it was so easy to walk through and get lost in each room, everything was organized and easy to look through. I can't say enough how much that helped, I hate feeling like a bull in a china shop so feeling comfortable walking around was a big factor for me. My partner and I purchased our first antique and have our eye on our next purchase here, giving us an excuse to come back to the beautiful little paradise that is Phoenicia. Thank you Mystery Spot! The Rx wasn't in the Phoenicia pharmacy, and I asked to pick it up in the Tannersville pharmacy; it was done seamlessly. Up in Tannersville I was helped by the pharmacist (Jennifer B, I believe), who was as helpful and kind as I needed. This is the way health care should work. This seemed to be incredibly popular, and people waited for quite a while to purchase it, so it must be good! There were countless flavors available, and all of them sounded very good. The store is stocked with clothing, hiking gear, camping gear, outdoor accessories and even a small selection of boots. While the selection of boots is small if you find yourself on trail with an unexpected broken boot rest assured you don't have to go far to find a quality boot to get you back on trail especially if you are in the area for a few days camping.
