A spacious restaurant in the southern part of the Old Town, serving Asian Fusion food. I'm not the greatest fan of fusion food, but they make a good fist of it here, although weirdly it includes burgers with an Asian twist, alongside noodle and rice dishes. On our visit we started with summer rolls (rice flour rolls with lots of fresh salad veg) served with Hoisin sauce, followed by the Sumi burger, served in a black bun with sweet potato fries; and a vegetable curry served in a spiced mango sauce, served with salad and rice. These were washed down with Bavarian beer. Service was friendly and efficient and the food came quickly (though they weren't very busy). Great tasting Indian food. We came at a somewhat late time for lunch but that didn't create any issues. For our meal we had mango lassi, samosas, papadum, garlic naan and lentil soup. The service was prompt and friendly. Sitting outside in the shade on a warm sunny day was a bonus. read more

We had the BEST dinner here. My husband was reluctant at first stating he does not like Indian food. Boy was he surprised, we had the flying tandoori dish - huge, fresh, cooked perfectly and big enough for 2. I had the coconut chicken dish. Both were amazing. PRE-DINING Le Bar is located in Old Town, on the corner at a T intersection on the road. While we were able to walk from where we were staying, if you're driving, I'd recommend finding parking outside of Old Town and walking in, as it's not far from the entrance to Old Town. AMBIANCE I would describe the ambiance as trendy. They had dance type music playing in the background, but more chill beats, and the music wasn't too loud. I dined here during the month of June, and found it to be very warm inside (but this could be typical for restaurants in the area). SERVICE The service was friendly, and they offer an English menu if you ask. F & B To start, we had the Hara Bhara Kabab and the Tandoori Mushrooms. For our entrees, we had the Delhi lamb and Chicken Tikka masala. We really enjoyed all of these dishes, and I would recommend each of them. SUMMARY Le Bar is an Indian restaurant with a cool, modern vibe. They offer a small area for outdoor seating (not all are covered in case of rain), as well as seating indoors. They elevate classic, Indian fare, resulting in lots of tasty dishes for yourself, or to share with your table. If you're looking to try some Indian dishes with a twist, I'd definitely recommend Le Bar. read more

I went to restaurant on 16 June 2024 at approximately 19.38. I ordered a meal and glass of wine. There seemed to be a mix up in communication as I was brought a bottle of wine instead of a glass. I raised this with the server who then proceeded to argue with me and insist that they knew what I wanted more than me. It could have easily been resolved by acknowledging I only wanted a glass of wine - and not a whole bottle - and adjusting the order accordingly. But despite me raising with another member of staff, the original server continued arguing. So given this was the level of service before even starting the meal, I promptly left, indicating I would be doing so to the server as a last attempt to gain a satisfactory resolution. Unfortunately this did not happen and my review reflects the level of service on this single occasion. To me, this is one occasion too many and I hope my feedback can help the restaurant to ensure it can maintain higher levels in future. read more

Came here twice in my short stay in Nuremberg, once for dinner and once for lunch. Dinner vibe- had a DJ on Friday night dinner, super trendy, lots of space, friendly service and excellent food. I got the buttered chicken, samosas, and sweet potato fries. Large portion of the buttered chicken and it was SO TASTY. Lunch vibe- playing hip-hop and r&b songs from the 2000's: love. Again, more low key, but super trendy and friendly service who took the time to explain the German menu to us English speakers. This time I got the tandoori chicken made to be a bit more spicy... amazing. It came with naan and a side salad, and also this orange paste like sauce that was so good I finished with a spoon. Excellent spot if you're in Nuremberg. Fairly priced for portions and quality. Highly recommended! read more

The decor here is amazing great aroma. Fast service got food within 5 minutes after being here. Food was absolutely amazing and will be back again soon. Waitress was very kind and took care of us well. Music is amazing not to loud but not to quiet just perfect. If you're looking for good food come here. read more

Went to have dinner here with a friend. I had the duck with avocado curry. It was very good and I'd order it again anytime. There was plenty of duck, veggies and rice. I also had ordered a lemonade with ginger, which was also very yummy. We sat outside but when venturing to restrooms I noticed a very cool and trendy interior, which would be fun to visit when temperatures drop again. One point deducted only because my raspberry mojito tasted good but had so many muddled berries that I couldn't drink without having chunks come through the straw and get stuck in my throat. Also more ice. The drink wasn't cold enough for my liking - but they easily gave us a jar with ice cubes so that was quickly solved. I'll be back for food :) read more

We were at LeBar and loved it. The Delhi Lamb and the Minh Duck absolutely delicious. The servers were welcoming, friendly and helpful, service was fast and quick. We loved it. Great dinner. read more
