Our nurse was Courtney and she was AMAZING!! Tynkerbell licked her and let her pet her, which she never does. Courtney's kind demeanor and very obvious compassion allowed my anxious, traumatized dog to trust her which means so much to me. Courtney also explained the whole process to me; she understood our situation and took the time and patience with Tynkerbell that she needs. Her friendliness and calmness made me feel assured that my dog was in great hands under their care- which is not something I feel often!! We were treated by Dr. Brandon Reynolds who was also very friendly and informative! He explained everything in great detail, and I felt confident that he would be able to find the right course of treatment for Tynkerbell. I would highly recommend him. Overall, I would recommend this clinic to anybody looking for quality emergency care. The staff was beyond helpful, caring and just wonderful. The clinic was very clean and tidy. There was no wait time, we were put in a room immediately! They made my dog feel comfortable, which is something she rarely feels around strangers and new places. Huge shout-out to Courtney! :) A big thank you also to Dr. Reynolds and the rest of the support staff for being mindful of my dog's special needs and putting me at ease!

SIX HOURS LATER he was finally put on oxygen. Stop your lying and own up to your "treatment" before the rage I'm feeling turns into enough energy to file a lawsuit. Their staff, across the board, greeted us with only compassion and kindness. Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

There was so much empathy throughout the experience, that it took away the awkward or embarrassing concerns. They also offered counseling services. Afterwards we received a beautiful carved wooden box to hold the ashes- we were not expecting anything this nice. To me, this was worth the higher price you pay- rather than going to the vet to do this.

It's only a YEAR later that I'm getting around to writing this review, and the experience with this company still makes me tear up, with gratitude! As a first-time client, I had some special requests, like keeping my dog's body for a few days while I finalized ideas for memorabilia. They honored my wishes with such grace and compassion. When I needed an urn, they went above and beyond, showing me their inventory so I could select the perfect one, as each wood option was uniquely cut and meaningful. Their attention to detail and genuine care for my situation made such a difference. Despite my attempts to give them a cash tip as a thank-you, they kindly refused and asked that I leave a review instead. So here it is (a YEAR later): Caring Pathways offers incredible service with a truly compassionate touch. I can't recommend them enough. The vet, Kaity, and her assistant that came to help us were just as much of a blessing as the ladies at the mortuary. You're all just the most extraordinary team of humans!! Thank you, again!!!! With love, from Teresa & Bourbon.
