After calling multiple clinics and being either turned down or asked to fork over $300 for a consult and no other quotes or information on the cost of the actual surgery, I was feeling defeated. But Kristine at Twin Peaks absolutely saved the day! She had me forward Rye's medical records by email and then provided a quote with no surprise fees. They did a free consult with one of their doctors and then brought in a surgeon to remove the leaking salivary duct on another scheduled visit. Come to find out, salivary mucocele surgery involves working around some delicate structures like the jugular vein and lingual nerve. But this team took impeccable care of our boy and I was able to take him home the same day with some good pain meds and precautionary antibiotics. We have had 2 follow-up visits since which have gone great. I wish I could remember everyone by name but Naya and Caylee in particular have been awesome.
