I brought some items in to get new zippers and to get creative help in helping my items last longer. Lyn was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well as creative in coming up with a couple of solutions to my issue. We had used her services before with my daughter's wedding dress alterations and had a great experience then as well. I'm a bit disappointed that it seems that I forgot to review her that time. Dress is unsalvageable, and going to the donation pile. Cute location, seemingly nice people, but unless you are a high spender, you are going to get poor quality work (and effort). The first time this happened I thought it was a fluke, the second time was worse. Both dresses also caused me literal pain from how poorly they were altered. I spent half the time while wearing the second dress, yanking down the poorly altered waist area. Both dresses gave me red painful marks in different areas just from wearing them. The entire look of the second dress is just destroyed though. Money down the drain. read more

It was an absolute privilege to have my wedding dress altered by the amazing and talented Lyn! I purchased a dress for an impromptu wedding (not a lot of time to plan/alter) and was super nervous because I wanted to make sure it was altered in time for the big day! My bridal shop recommended Lyn (she is their premiere seamstress) and this woman was the fairy godmother of dress making! We had four fittings and each one was better and better. Lyn created a bustle, altered the dress to fit me, shortened it (without sacrificing the gorgeous lace applique) and did an incredible job. Her staff is also super nice and talented. I am so grateful for Lyn and her team for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. She is so easy and fun to work with and has the most welcoming and lively personality. I stopped by on a weekday morning to see if I could get a suit tailored. When I asked if I could get measured that day, the staff laughed and told me no way. I asked if there was time later in the week, and again was laughed at. I finally was able to get an appointment the following week just to get measured. I realized it was probably a busy time, but I felt like my business was treated as unimportant. It felt like they were doing me a favor to even consider it. I cannot speak highly enough of Lyn. From the first time my mom and I met with her, we knew she was my lady for my wedding gown. My gown needed straps tightened, a slight hem, and a bustle. Lyn also suggested something I didn't know I wanted, but she took the belt I purchased and actually used part of the hemmed material to make it part of my dress! It looked like it was purchased that way! I had a few fittings as the bustle of my dress was fairly complicated, but Lyn was not going to stop until it was perfect without compromise. The bustle was strong and ended up being perfect! Lyn also used appliques from my mom's wedding dress (which she washed to turn it back to it's original color!) to add a personal touch to my veil. It was so perfect it made my mom cry happy tears. Lyn then even kept my dress and veil safely in her shop until the Friday before the wedding. Pricing is very fair and the quality is incredible. She's the best!! The fact that she's so busy and you better call for an appointment shows that she's good. Lyn will practically become your best friend when you show up for your appointment. I cannot say enough about Lyn...I feel very very lucky to have been able to meet her & work with her. Getting my dress bustled was one of the many things I had procrastinated with. I called her about a month prior to my wedding after multiple people had referred her. She was able to book me & was just SO nice. The day after booking, I tried my dress on & found it just barely zipped & I could not sit down in it. I called her the next day just about in tears & definitely in panic mode to let her know. Obviously if the dress also needed to be altered it would require more time & I wasn't sure we had enough time to get it done since I had waited so long. Well my sad tears turned into happy tears because she took the time to calm me down and reassured me that if it needed to be altered she'd get me in ASAP. It really meant a lot to me! Now luckily, I was able to lose the few pounds I needed to so that it fit perfectly but she did the bustle, sewed my belt on, steamed my veil, reinforced the zipper, etc. Everything was PERFECT & the price was AWESOME! Not only that- but she is HILARIOUS! A couple of my bridesmaids also had their dresses altered by her & brought other dresses in as well. In May 2018 I had seven pairs of pants dropped off to have the backs removed and changed with sweatpant material. I do this because I'm in a wheelchair and it helps reduce the risk of getting pressure sores. The pants cost a total of $600. They were gray green and tan. After three months of calling to find out when they will be done and I finally got them back the end of July. I had my father pick up the pants because I wasn't driving at the time. He paid almost $300 dollars for the alterations. The two tan pants had tan material on the back (as expected) however the gray and green pants also had tan material on the back. I told them that they looked ridiculous and that I expected matching material on the back. They said that this was the only material that they had and I would need to go pick up material and bring it to them to have them redone. My mother went to the fabric shop and spend $75 dollars on new material and dropped them off a few days later. I have been calling ever since then and either get no response or if an employee accidentally answers the call they're extremely rude. The last accidental answer got me a response of "I will call you when they're done". After seven months of waiting I am out $600 in pants, $300 in alteration cost and $75 in extra sweat pants material for a grand total of $975. I have nothing to show for this expense. I'm sure after writing this review I will never see these pants again however it is worth it. I'll be filing a Better Business Bureau complaint as well as a lawsuit just on principle. read more
