I made my way to dinner on the way, and then to Markley. First thing first, the pictures on Yelp and Google must be way old. The room is WAY nicer in person. Looks like a lot of work has been done since then. New Diamond tables. Clean blue cloth. New and clean furniture. Fresh paint on the wall. It's clean-clean! So... if you are a serious pool player, or even a hobbyist pool player, definitely consider making your way to this room. Tables are $6/hr. The establishment is cash only. I didn't see any alcohol, but there are drinks and snacks available for purchase, as well as your typical pool gear (chalk, gloves, cues, accessories). There's a combination of 7' and 9' ft Diamonds. The balls are the Aramith Tournament set. And they are clean. Racks tight. Smooth. Table runs straight and fast. A poolplayer's dream! Staff is nice and friendly, and so are the other patrons. I think I was here on a slow night as there were only 2-3 other parties in the room. Five out of five stars for sure. Solid pool room. Solid experience. Music doesn't suck. I've been to a lot of pool rooms all over the country and I definitley approve of this place! It'd be nice if credit cards are accepted, but they do have an ATM if you are in a pinch!

Pricing is expensive for a league overall for me. Food might not always be available. Starbucks glass container seemed off sitting around too long but still drinkable. I'm Lights are bright enough and place is a bigger space than a typical local bar. Markley is not a bar. Tables are in reasonably good shape. Maybe the abundance of tables, location, tradition, culture, and lack of alcohol all contribute to a good time- let's play pool and not ask people overly personal questions.

The dog was still good but it would have been better with onions, this place really makes you take for granted simple hospitality. I understand onions are not free and not on the hot dog I ordered, but I find it hard to rationalize not giving a guest onions on their hot dog if the restaurant has them in house.

Speaking of bars, Cellar Dog has beer, wine, and cocktails. And a house green tea shot. Hungry? They've got typical bar food. I like their Cellar dog - a hot dog is perfect with almost any drink, especially at a reasonable $4 (credit accepted). I've been here on quiet nights, and haven't experienced a cover charge (yet). There's a stage for live performances, and plenty of TVs playing sports (usually). Like pool? There's +4 tables available when you're feeling competitive.

Still hot as heck in here with just a few fans. No attendant was there when i showed. One of the patrons told me to hell be here soon. 10 min later he shows takes my money and vanishes again. I wouldnt recommend this place unless you in dire need of a quick practice session. Its not horrible per say but its not my 1st, 2nd nor 3rd choice. The potential is here but lazy and cheap ownership holds it back.

As crowded as this place can get there's always pool tables available. There's ample tables, ample space and plenty of room to move around. I love that they've upgraded and put tvs at almost every pool table. The food is adequate, nothing to write home about but they have some good options. The bar area is never overcrowded and they even have servers that come to your pool table to take food and drink orders. Great for beginners and those sharpening their skills. The crowd is mixed with various age ranges. The weekends are the best time for a popping social crowd while weekdays are slower and great for learning.
