Didn't want to miss our flight so we ended up searching a ride on Lyft and fortunately a nice man accepted the ride request from Utah to Vegas. She even refused to pull the truck from in front of the store to the side lot to see what we meant when we said the truck was unsafe. Yes, U-haul costs more, but safety and more pleasant customer service reps are priceless. Avoid this place! Beforehand, you might want to do some research and watch current videos on IG, TikTok, or YouTube so you know what to expect. We finally made it here on SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH to escape the Vegas heat. It's an hour drive from Las Vegas, so we left at 8:15 am. We arrived at 9:15 am to a line of other cars thinking the same thing...we were already about 20 cars deep. The park opens at 10am to 6pm and it's $30/person for adults. There are about 50 parking spots inside that the workers will direct you where to park, and there are complimentary wagons to load up your belongings to bring to your picnic spot. Top priority for everyone is to cool off in the 100-foot 80 degree river, and snag a great picnic spot. Most prime picnic spots are along the river and come covered and fully equipped with a grill, tablle, chairs, and a garbage can. Restrooms are clean, and there's also a shower as well. For us, swim time in the river was OUR priority, so we packed lightly(cooler, chairs, towels, bluetooth speaker, and water flasks. We brought snacks, ice cream, and poke for lunch. Went for our first swim at about 10:30am Had a Poke Bowl lunch at about 11:15am while lots of people were still slaving away in the heat over a hot grill trying to get lunch cooked for their families. Went for a second swim at Noon. Not too many people swimming as lots of people were still eating. By the time 1-1:30pm rolled around, the river was a madhouse with all kinds of music blasting, and people just having a great time. We decided to call it a day and packed up our belongings then headed back to Vegas. A fun day was had, and yes, we plan to return. Now you know before you go!

Actually, there are a group of about seven of us, because Movara builds strength AND friendships. We had a villa, which is very, very nice inside and tastefully decorated. Every day, numerous activities are scheduled from cooking demos, lectures, Zumba, but the highlight of all is definitely the hikes. Being so close to the National Park and red rocks is an asset to the overall program. There is an 'assessment hike' done on day one to place you in an appropriate hike group the rest of the days you are there. The hikes are run from 645-845a daily. All other classes and coaches are thoughtfully planned and I am very grateful that they alternate a hike/stretching/lecture/cardio/strength/pool aerobics (I've heard firsthand they used to do cardio/cardio/cardio plus have other strenuous activities later in the day in the heat & sun). Mid-week, I reweighed myself and was down two pounds. With this info, I knew where I stood and my mission is to be down a few more by checkout! I appreciate the overall mission at Movara and I think I would return again. PS the food program is wonderful, allots about 1200 cals per day, across the board, and all recipes are provided upon request!

The tv has live channels available as well as Netflix. the rooms have a microwave a fridge and a coffee maker as well as an iron The list of amenities is pretty awesome a heated pool and spa (8am-11pm) a laundry room (8am-10pm free breakfast (6-10am) free wifi excersise room (6-11pm) we payed a pretty good price for three nights we had two adults and a room with two queen beds and payed around 450 and that includes 30$ deposit that is returned to you after your stay What I also really like about this place is that they don't automatically have a maid come and service your room instead you request it. I personally love this option. Overall I recommend staying here as its also in a good area. 1hr from Zion national park and a quick 10 minutes to the downtown area. A big plus about staying at this hotel is the breakfast they offer for free throughout your stay during the morning hours. I hit it up every morning, regardless if I was intending to have breakfast later that day. The breakfast includes biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon strips, sausage links, make your own waffle machine, breakfast potatoes, cereals, oatmeal, and much more, not to mention coffee and teas. There's inside and outside seating available. The hotel offers an inside pool, it's a non-smoking facility, offers a laundry facility, and an exercise room. The renovations will include a new lobby and restaurant and bar. I would stay here again, not only because the prices were very fair and it was a good stay.

Definitely not intentional as they deserve every bit of praise. We've been coming here for about eight years and we absolutely love it. The suites feel like your own condo. Private entrances and garage, patio, fireplace, jetted tub, and completely unobstructed views of Snow Canyons cliffs. The property is a private, gated club with a guard who checks you in during your stay. Amenities include a pool, hot tub, spa, gym, yoga, pilates, onsite dining, kitchenette, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, basketball courts, 18-hole golf course, and beautiful walking paths. The entire neighborhood is gorgeous and is impeccably maintained. It's located in Ivins, about eight miles from downtown St. George and just five miles from Snow Canyon State Park. There's also a great grocery store named Harmon's about two miles away, perfect for stocking your fridge. With just over 60 rooms, the resort feels more like a boutique retreat than a commercial hotel. Every visit inspires me to stay off my phone and that's always a good thing. I got to say that the room is excellent, it is thoroughly clean and just fresh and wonderful. The front desk was very helpful and nice. The bed is very comfortable, and the linens are some of the best that I have slept on in a very, very, very long time. Absolutely love it. The shower has excellent pressure, silverware, pots, and pans, and things like that are available upon request because they have a dinette built into your room. Most places have a very generic under powered hairdryer. And I like that they've gone even there above and beyond, and put a nice hairdryer of a bigger size. I will say don't turn your nose up on this place and location, this was a true gem, and a true find. Glad we finally after all these many times coming into this town I've had a chance to try this out. I will definitely be coming back again and again. And for someone who hardly ever leaves reviews, when a place is excellent, I really have to put something down for a place. IF YOU LIKE: * A check in process where you have to read…read moreinstructions to get your key from a kiosk because the owner "has a bad knee" and can't be bothered to assist you in person * A trip-hazard of poorly laid concrete patch on a decrepit walkway * A noisy fridge that has food leftover from a previous occupant which calls into question the overall cleanness of the room * A loud AC unit that runs non-stop until you shut it off, giving you the bonus option of a hot room * A shower drain that is slow such that you're standing in backed up water * A hot water supply that may or may not give you hot water for your shower * A bed installed close enough to a wall that you have to sidle to get in it * A kitchenette with no cookware or amenities of any kind * An alarm clock alarm that's set to ON by a previous occupant but not turned off because (per the owner) 'it's up to you --not up to hotel staff -- to think to check it' * A lot of hotrod traffic racing up and down the adjacent street until 1am THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I complained to management about most this (the stuff that's within their control) and got back a response taking no ownership of any of the issues. Bottom Line: pay an extra $20 and find someplace where you can get some sleep and that isn't an out of date dump like this.
