Rented a camper there three years ago and it was messy and had food in the kids area. Told the owners and they didn't care so we cleaned it up. New owners took over so we gave the campground another chance. Rented a pontoon boat for half the day but wasn't able to get on it until an hour after our time because "there wasn't someone certified to bring the boat around for check in" never received an hour extended on to our time to make up for the hour lost. Rented it out the next day and when we turned it back in they said there was a bunch of stuff damaged to it but there wasn't. They showed me a small rubbed mark on a cushion that I never noticed and no one was even in that area of the boat. They said the whole cushion would need to be replaced but after arguing about it they settled on me just paying them 80 dollars. We had no intentions of ever returning but this year a family member wanted to use our boat for when they camped there so we drove there to drop it off and spend the day. They rented a dock but still had to pay a boat launching fee which is crazy because if you use a dock, of course you have to launch your boat. They used the floating docks and there was no tie offs to tie the boat to so they had to use the poles of the dock. This campground is money hungry!! Was with the old owners and still is with the new owners. This review is from the summer of 2023 which involves the new owners and not the old owner (Heather) read more

I cannot say enough good things about Lynn Ann's Campground. I was in a group of 4 adults and did the RV rental for 2 nights we WISH we could stay longer. It was the best! The camp ground was very clean and so was the RV. Angie and her team were so nice, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. So many things to do at the campground you wouldn't even have to leave the site tbh. Watch the sunset, grill, be round the campfire, swim, rent a boat or kayak, or even take a nice walk there is so much to do. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.(: read more

No hooks in the bathrooms to hang your towels or your clothes. The water just drips out of the shower heads. Flies everywhere in the bathroom. You must pay extra per day for Wi-Fi. read more

Love this place! Favorite camping spot and getaway from the city. Has everything you could want. Game room for the kids. Fishing on the shore or rent a boat and explore the awesome lake. Enjoy the sand and the beach. Everything is kept clean so that everyone can enjoy it. And if you forget something just get it at the camp store so you won't miss a beat in your trip. The views are breathtaking. And get to enjoy is all on the lake. One of my favorite fishing spots. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The bathrooms and showers are clean! Flush toilets always a bonus when camping. read more

Relaxing. Beautiful lakefront campground. Friendly,flexible, staff. Lots of activities for families and kids alike. Rental boats, bikes and games available. Clean swimming beach as well as well groomed and clean grounds. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend Lynn Ann's. read more

I had been thru the Northwoods many years back. I said then that I would return. Friends invited us to join them at Lynn Ann's probably 12 years back and we have been returning every year since adding more trips and time almost every year. This a very welcoming Campground with the things you need yet retains the true ability to tent camp or Rv as your interests dictate. Large sites, well maintained, clean and functional. Located right on the shore of Big Saint with a nice marina, excellent boat launch, fuel and bait on site makes this a great place to bring the boat. Firewood and basic camp store provide other needs and treats. Any other needs are likely available within a short drive to town. The folks there work very hard all season (may-oct) so you can enjoy. At nighttime, the campground lights up with campfires that offer a gentle background to gather for friendly conversation or a nap or two for those who have made the best of their day. As the sun goes down over the lake the sunsets are often simply amazing giving way to a canopy of stars you will never find in the city. Enjoy your visit, I think you too will return again. read more

We had a horrible experience at this campground. We attempted to stay over the 4th of July weekend. 3 people with 2 tents. We set up camp and several hours later got a phone call from the owner - I believe her name was Pat - stating their license only allowed one tent per site unless you were on a group site. Upon booking and checking in - nobody verbally told us that this was the case. After discovering we would have to take a tent down we went to the office and again encountered the owner. Without apology she started in on us stating she has been the owner for 28 years and would never tell someone that they could occupy that space with 2 tents. She said it was in our email confirmation and all of their literature. She was very defensive with a condescending and rude undertone. During booking and check in not a single question was asked about how many tents we would have. Wouldn't this be a basic question? Site is filled with mostly RV traffic and not many tents - so it wouldn't take more than a few seconds of their time to ask how many guests and how many tents they plan to have. Extra fee for an extra tent? No problem! Only one tent allowed? You should probably ask what your customer needs prior to accepting money. At the end she gave us a full refund because it didn't suit our needs - but remained sarcastic and unapologetic through the entirety of the interaction. On our way out the door she was sure to get the last word in. As we left the office she hollered after us with the utmost sarcasm 'I'll be sure to verbally tell every single customer that only one tent is allowed in single unit sites'. A little customer service and slightly refined communication skills could have lent her well. Not a single apology for the inconvenience of setting up your entire camp, bedding, etc and then having to pack it up a few hours later. However - we gladly would unpack and pack up again to avoid giving business to an ungrateful and rude owner. Never experienced a blatantly rude business owner such as this. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. read more

We had an amazing long weekend staying here! It was my family's first trip with our RV, and the staff were friendly and made it easier than ever. We didn't have the correct electric hookup for the updated spot we were assigned to, and Mike didn't hesitate to lend us what we needed and check on us to make sure everything was working well. We rented a power boat from Lynn Ann's for 2 days and really enjoyed fishing out on both lakes. We got a beautiful full hookup spot in the back row which gave us plenty of privacy with the woods, and a family of deer that would come by to visit. We will definitely be back again! Over past six years gone down hill. Campsites not clean, firepits full of gargage, dog waste left all over campsite. Love dogs, but do not enforce rules, dogs allowed to run all over loose thru other campsites, One year held motorcycle rally at campground, did not notify us till thar day we wld be surrounded by bikers. Had to listen to loud vulgar language, guys doing burn outs on road, drunks hanging out by bathrooms, woke up to guys in sleeping bags along road. Tried to express distain of situation received oh well attitude from owners. Last straw, owners breached storage camping agreement for 2018, agreement was paid in full. Owners sent letter, less than 2 wks notice to remove camper from storage. Had to cancel vacation plans and get camper moved. Wld not recommend. read more

This is the worst RV campground and boat launch I've ever used in 25+ years. A lot of the reviews state Lynn was Rude , True !! , and don't trust her because if you tell her you would review and rate her she calls the police on people !!True !! . Lynn and her staff will not help you if your any type of disabled vet or other!! True!!!. They have one of the worst boat launches in the area and don't expect her or her staff to help you with launching in this horrible small tight launch. And to make it worse her husband parks his pontoon in the channel barely giving you room to get out to the lake . She has a terrible attitude and a short temper and I agree with others saying she is rude . But what really bothers me is they rush you through the directions to launch then they leave you hanging even if your struggling with this horrid launch and the wind in this tiny launch area . Most campgrounds I've gone to are great about helping to launch especially if your older or disabled or need help in any adverse conditions or dealing with the wind , Don't expect that at Lynn Ann's !!! they will watch you as well as her help and never offer a hand to help you !! . read more

The staff was beyond friendly and the self service model for wood and ice with Venmo and cash options was great. It was a smaller campground but had everything you truly needed, plus the option of renting one of their two pontoons. As much as is possible with a boat, it came with white glove service. They put it in the water for you and when you were done at the end of the day you gave them a call and they came and loaded it back up. Matt was awesome and gave some recommendations for spots to stop while out on the water. It couldn't have been an easier way to explore the Eagle River chain. If you haven't been here DON'T! We live in the area, know tons of people in the community and we called and were told there was a site left on the lake. Right by the beach on Memorial day, all gravy! Reserved the site, never been here before, show up and the people next to us were in most of the site, there was NO ROOM whatsoever and absolutely no privacy. Not to mention no woods at all!! Camping? Lol. So we manage to set up, start relaxing, and someone tells us we have to move our vehicle. Not a problem. It was so everyone could see the lake across the street. Excuse me I paid more for a lake site for a reason? Next day we get stopped and need to move our trailer. Someone complained again. I asked what the rules are and if there was anything else we should know because frankly the sites are tiny, so they make money, right on top of each other with no privacy and if you haven't been here they are horrible at explaining rules and what goes where. The lady working was rude and had no answer about the rules. Also told us 3 people would be fine then charged us in the end. Never coming back again or recommending which is a shame because we both work for the county! read more

Great campground, good fishing lake. Heather and Mike are passionate about their campground, work hard, and take good care of everything. We rent a camper from them and it's always clean, well stocked and comfy. Rental campers can be a little close to the next campsite, but there is never an issue with that. We still love going there and have been for about 20+ years. My parents also camped there for years before us. They now have a tiki bar at the beach, live music, ice cream socials, yoga on the beach, lots to do and the sunsets are SPECTACULAR. Boat and pontoon rentals, live bait, fuel for boats, a small store with the staples you may need, including beer and ice. LOVE LOVE LOVE Lynn Ann's and hope to camp there 3 weeks every summer when we retire! read more

It's a 5 hour drive from our home in SW Wisconsin, but totally worth it! We are on the third generation of family vacationing at this full service campground. Love the fact that we can rent a pier for the boat and the beach is in walking distance from campsites. Bathrooms are clean, store is handy for last minute food items and they don't gouge you on the prices, bikes and boats also available to rent at reasonable prices. Mike and Heather are caring owners and work hard to resolve any issues that come up. Several cute "upnorth" towns are within short driving distance for shopping and other activities. Now retired - we are lucky to be able to spend several weeks there! read more

Lynn Ann's is one of the nicest private campgrounds in the Northwoods on Big St. Germain Lake. The sites are spacious for a private campground and comfortable. The location is great - on the lake with a nice swimming area, easy access to a great bike path system, near a few golf courses, and other kid friendly, family activities. It's a beautiful area. Owners Heather & Mike are friendly and welcoming. If you want a night off from cooking there are plenty of eateries near by and the grocery store in town has one of the best bakeries around (try a loaf of English Muffin bread in addition to the pastries and coffee cakes). read more

In response to Amanda M, It seems that you were trying to get away with not getting 2 campsites and got caught! I have tent camped many times at Lynn Anns and it is very clearly stated that only one tent is allowed. Shame on you! Beautiful campground on the shores of Big Lake St Germain, Great swimming, boating, kyaking,paddle boarding. General store with rentals, treats and supplies. We rented a fishing boat and Mike helped us with everything we needed.The campground it well maintained and facilities are clean. Everyone has their favorite "up north" towns and ours are Minocqua and St Germain. We've spent a lot of time visiting almost every campground in the area. From the moment we drove in to Lynn Ann's it just felt right. Just big enough to have some nice amenities: beautifull lake view, protected bay in which to dock the boat, huge swimming beach, rentals, and a tiki bar! Yet small enough to feel comfortable, welcoming, and like family. Great choice of sites depending on what you want and need. Beautiful trees and lakefront but it's pretty open. This is "up north relaxed resort camping" at its best. read more

Our family has been vacationing here regularly for years. We started out tenting it and have since graduated to a nice trailer. My parents rented a trailer near our site for some years too. Great family campground on the south shore of Big Lake. Lots of trees for hammocks! Full hookups if you trailer. Well stocked camp store, docks for boats, rental pontoon or docks for your own boat. Playground for kids. Sandy beach with swimming area and water toys. Also a beachside tiki bar to enjoy. The campground is well maintained with friendly staff. We have been going to Lynn Annl's Campground for almost 10 years with several families. We have such a great time and really enjoy Lynn Ann's. We rent one of the onsite trailers and they are very nice, upgraded every few years and always clean! We also enjoy all that Lynn Ann's has to offer, with one of our favorites being sitting at the beach front, listening to music and getting drinks at the tiki bar! The campsites themselves are always nice as well. Just a nice place to get away with owners and staff that is always nice and helpfull!! Will always come back every year! read more

I love Lynn Ann's so much. They have so much to do for the whole family. Their beach is one of the best I have ever been to. They a huge sandy swimming area with big floating toys that are fun for kids and adults alike. They have a little store that is stocked with anything you could need or would have forgotten. I also really appreciated how friendly the staff is they helped teach my kids how to use the kayaks and showed them some places to go to on the lake. We really enjoy the convenience of the store. You don't have to carry money around they charge it to your site. They have boat docks. Activities for children. A tiki bar to sit and listen to music and relax. We bring our paddle boards and can leave them up by the lake for convenience. Bike trails are close by and very safe. The only boat gas station on the lake. Very clean. Very accommodating wonderful owners.We have booked two weeks for next year. read more

I absolutely love this place. My family and I have been coming here for years. The owners are wonderful people, along with the great staff. The camp is always clean and well kept. Also, decent rental prices for kayaks, bikes, etc. My family and I never had any issues since we started camping here. This is definitely our home away from home! Beautiful lakeside camping resort on Big St. Germain Lake.... peaceful laid back, quality amenities. They have a marina, piers to rent, boat rentals, pickleball, sandy swimming beach, playground, and a well stocked general store. Amazing paved bike trail system you can ride to directly from the campground. Great staff too. Highly recommend! read more

The campground is very well maintained and has an excellent beach for both kids and adults. Great lake to do some fishing or water sports. They have great boat rentals with great rates! Also very easy and inexpensive items for the kids to rent during their day of fun on the beach. read more

We love camping at Lynn Ann's Campground. We usually camp for 6 weeks. The campground is located on a beautiful lake and we bring our pontoon to enjoy fishing and boating. Heather and Mike are fantastic owners. They are friendly and helpful. We are treated like family! read more
