Even at certain busy times of the day/week when every pump is being used, they open up quickly, we've never had to wait for more than 5 minutes to pump gas & even that is very rare. They often have the cheapest gas around, equal to or less than the Mobil a few miles west & definitely always cheaper than the three gas stations within a mile down the road to the east. Just be cautious of other drivers, not only pulling out onto Route 101 from the gas station but even just pulling away from the pump & even pulling in to the gas station because people drive like flipping lunatics with no regard for the fact that there are other cars & other people. They will back up quickly from the convenience store parking spots quickly with barely a glance & other people just hit the gas when pulling away from a pump without checking to see if cars are coming first & still others pull in from 101 without slowing down & furiously pull into a pump or the convenience store spots. So it's a great gas station, just beware of other drivers/people & drive carefully.

I didn't ask for my situation and felt like I was being put on display because I don't have a lot of extra money at the moment. do better. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

They were closed for some renovations for about 6 months but they still look pretty po-dunkie. There are like 8 pumps, not situated great so its easy to get blocked in. Not a ton of parking other than the pumps so also very easy to get blocked in. There isn't much more than the basics inside. Bathroom looks like something out of a Saw movie. Pavement is falling apart and there are pot holes and ruts everywhere. If you can make it 5 more minutes you can get to the much nice Irving in Milford, all be it busier, its a lot nicer. But in reality who reads reviews for gas stations.

I decided to get gas from the station beside it, Aloha gas where it seems most customers are welcome with no political preferences. A wise business owner would never give preference to their own political choices and biases over their businesses. I guess not all customers are welcome at Penguin Fuels/gas station.

The store is eclectic. Owned by Peggy & Dan. It's home. You walk inside, and you're in the living room, and it's great! Everyone who stops by will chat a while and catch up on town news. There's lots going on in the town. They are friendly and helpful. If you like a little Mayberry in the North, you should stop by and set a while.
