stopped here for my last time today. about 2 months ago I broke my leg, putting me out of work and…read moreshort on cash. a very difficult and uncomfortable situation for me. today I went to purchase my usual as a regular and the woman behind the counter not only felt the need to announce in a loud voice that my card had declined but in the same loud voice announced the EXACT BALANCE IN MY ACCOUNT. it was incredibly embarrassing and uncalled for. how would she feel of I had done the same to her? you guys have officially lost a regular. have some respect for your customers. I didn't ask for my situation and felt like I was being put on display because I don't have a lot of extra money at the moment. do better. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

On some days, a cute old couple works there who always are funny to listen to, and are just so nice. Then on other days a hot guy works there as well. Even at certain busy times of the day/week when every pump is being used, they open up quickly, we've never had to wait for more than 5 minutes to pump gas & even that is very rare. They often have the cheapest gas around, equal to or less than the Mobil a few miles west & definitely always cheaper than the three gas stations within a mile down the road to the east. Just be cautious of other drivers, not only pulling out onto Route 101 from the gas station but even just pulling away from the pump & even pulling in to the gas station because people drive like flipping lunatics with no regard for the fact that there are other cars & other people. They will back up quickly from the convenience store parking spots quickly with barely a glance & other people just hit the gas when pulling away from a pump without checking to see if cars are coming first & still others pull in from 101 without slowing down & furiously pull into a pump or the convenience store spots. So it's a great gas station, just beware of other drivers/people & drive carefully.

I decided to get gas from the station beside it, Aloha gas where it seems most customers are welcome with no political preferences. A wise business owner would never give preference to their own political choices and biases over their businesses. I guess not all customers are welcome at Penguin Fuels/gas station.
