Installing the carpet took 4.5 hours and I missed a meeting at work due to the poor time estimate. The owner never returned my call when I called to discuss this with him. I eventually got him when I called back on my own. He didn't understand my complaint about the time misquote and seemed annoyed that I would bother him with this complaint. If it takes 4.5 hours that is fine but I expect a much better time estimate when I schedule my appointment. I also expect some accountability from the owner and more promptness in addressing my complaint.

We have video and photo evidence that shows complete damage to our property, even after they attempted to resolve an issue. The Flooring Company sent out a cleaning crew and painter to attempt to resolve some issue, which ultimately failed. There are numerous soft spots throughout the floors, confirmed by numerous contractors after installation. We aren't asking for perfection but a professional job after spending over $25,000 for flooring. Your business practices we have experienced has been deceptive and unprofessional. UPDATE: Owner sent me an email asking to remove my bad review or he will pursue legal action. Watch out! Deceitful! The photos reflect the condition of which The Flooring Company LLC left my property in after they completed the job. I had to complain and push to get a cleaning crew which was ineffective (I had to spend $400 to get a cleaning crew to come out after The Flooring Company LLC's cleaning crew "cleaned" the property). Additionally, The Flooring Company LLC hired a painter to patch the damage to my walls, which did a poor job. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional company. I'm looking forward to The Flooring Company LLC to post the final images and videos of their flooring at my property--which would be downright embarrassing for their company. I had 4 quotes total and these guys had the best price by far and they were rated highly on YELP. So I gave them the order. The workers worked neatly and efficiently. When i inspected the work after they left for the day, I found 3 minor issues to be fixed. I took pictures of them and sent them to the saleslady, Malak. The workers came back the next day and repaired them to my satisfaction. I wanted to rearrange some of the furniture and the workers were happy to so. Husband and wife team. Nice people and most of the install is fine. But in bathroom 3 tile pieces have 1/4-3/8" gap to wall. If we had seen it we would not have signed off and made final payment. We saw it after and every time you sit on toilet it is what you see. Went back and talked to salesman and Ian, the owner on a Tuesday. Was promised by Ian he would call me Thursday with repair date. I had informed them that we were listing house for sale so time was critical. Did not hear back. Went in following Wednesday and told John no call from Ian. He would leave him a note. No call following Monday. Stopped in was told he was out all day doing estimates. Finally called this morning and said repair would be done next week sometime. We have 15 showings from Wednesday to Sunday and the floor will not be repaired. After 3 weeks, no call backs and long delay on repairs, it is apparent to me customer service and backing their work, is not the owner's priority. I HAD several…read moreseams that were shredding thanks to our cat, and after 11 years the carpet had stretched in the upstairs hallway and on the staircase. These folks arrived at the exact time they had stated, did a quick walk-through and got right to work. Alex stretched carpet in several areas and his wife repaired doorway seams simultaneously. We had thought we might need new carpet but decided to try Alexander's, just to see. WHAT A FANTASTIC JOB!!! Our carpets looked as good as new and we no longer think it needs to be replaced. In addition to great work, these were some of the nicest people we have ever had work on our home. I will not hesitate to use them again! I originally thought the quote was high but after seeing the work, and getting to know these folks after a few minutes, we paid extra.

I was recommended a brand based on pets and cleaning ability. Doug came out and measured then I selected Mohawk Smart Strand carpet for four rooms and closets. I'm a vintage person, so I've had many dealings with carpet installers and products. I can honestly tell you this was one of the best installs and product recommendation I've had in my life. From now on I will buy all of my flooring from Carpet Depot.
