It felt like a special way to honor her, almost like sharing a part of myself with her that I never got to while she was alive: the fact that I've become a tea drinker. The store itself is stunning. It's so zen, serene, and quiet, with a real sense of tranquility the moment you walk in. I spent about an hour and a half just wandering around, reading the little cards that explain the benefits of each herb. It's incredibly educational. Andrew was working that day, and he was wonderful. So kind, warm, and knowledgeable. He shared the longan and goji berry tea with me, and I ended up purchasing the jasmine pearl green tea and the longan tea. The jasmine pearl has become part of my morning ritual, it's absolutely delicious. And I'm completely obsessed with the longan. I snack on it, add it to my tea, and even sprinkle it on salads. It's that good. The cafe area is beautiful too, with gorgeous artistic teacups on display. By the end of my visit, I signed up as a member, and they gave me the most beautiful gift I've ever received from a store: a teacup with a diffuser and cover, along with the very tea I'd just purchased. I couldn't wait to get home and pour myself a cup. This was such a meaningful and wonderful experience, and I can't wait to go back and bring some of my girlfriends with me.

I've bought several products from here in the past, but feel like I need to warn people with my…read morerecent experience. Went in to ask about supplements, and was encouraged to purchase an item, being told that I should relax, because I could bring back the product and get a full refund, if it wasn't working for me. I ended up buying it, because there was a "20% all pills" promo that was advertised out front. Turned out that the product wasn't working for me, and upon going back into the store, I was told by another employee that there's no way I could ever get a refund. When I looked up the item I was sold, it turns out that it was actually cheaper to just buy it on the manufacturer's site, even with the 20% discount anyway. And this was apparently one of their own in house brands too (which makes the markup even more confusing). So, in brief, if you see an item in store there that you like, just go online, and check the item's actual REAL price online, because there's a good chance that it's actually sold cheaper by the company that makes it. And don't believe the staff when they tell you to not worry about buying a product, because of their return policy.

Okay, nothing the store can do. * Parking. Crazy at times. A mixture of tight spaces, and people that can't drive create a big backup to the one exit. * Lighting. As soon as I walked through the doors, I noticed a really bad smell throughout the entire store. The carpet was extremely dirty and made the whole place feel run-down and poorly maintained. For a CVS located in such a busy shopping center, I honestly expected the store to be much cleaner and more welcoming. The customer service was also practically nonexistent. There was no one around asking customers if they needed help or even acknowledging them when they came in. It felt like you were completely on your own. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was seeing a man putting items into his backpack and appearing to steal merchandise. There was a security guard standing right by the entrance, but I did not see the guard take any action. I obviously can't speak to what the security guard may or may not have been aware of, but as a customer, witnessing that made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. I hope management takes a serious look at the condition of the store, customer service, and overall security because the experience was far below what I would expect from CVS.
