I decided on a hot stone massage, and couldn't believe that a five star spa located on Acland st would only charge me $90 for a 60 minute treatment. I've paid more in Craigieburn for chrissake!! My therapist was amazing, not only was she great at the hot stone massage, I didn't feel one bit uncomfortable throughout the entire process, which is saying something for me! If it's your first time, you will be required to fill out a small information form -- nothing invasive -- which is handled with a level of casual professionalism which makes the process an easy and comfortable task. It'll take you about five minutes, leaving plenty of time to drink in the surroundings and relax. You are given the option of paying up front or after the massage, both of which are dealt without any notion of your being a 'number' or a 'commission', which is pleasant to experience. There is an expected (and very minor) waiting time -- give yourself 10 minutes of waiting -- which seemed solely dependant on the number of staff working on the day (of which there was only one), but this didn't detract from the pleasant experience in the slightest. Overall, girlfriend came out feeling relaxed, happy, feeling soft as butter and stating that another booking sometime in the future would be greatly appreciated.
