I went to this salon wanting a blonde balayage. My natural hair is dark brown, and to minimize…read moredamage, I specifically requested blonde highlights based on my own natural base color. I even showed them photos with colors from the same tone family. During the process, hairstylist Amy kept asking her manager about which color to use and how long to leave it on, which made me feel uneasy. She called me over to check the color while my hair was wrapped in foil and even brought me to the manager. One thing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable was When it was time to wash my hair, she didn't speak but just pointed with her finger for me to come over. In the end, they gave me a blonde color mixed with some grayish ash tones instead of what I wanted. They said the photos I showed had ash tones too, and that ash colors eventually fade. They also admitted that the color ended up way too gray, which was not what I wanted. They promised to do a retone for free. The next day, I asked for a refund. At first, I insisted on a full refund, but they refused, saying the photos I chose had various colors and that I didn't want brown. (But looking at the result, it's clear that it's not just missing the brown color -- overall, it's very different from the photos I showed.) So I ended up accepting only half of the refund. This was by far the worst salon experience I've ever had. Other stylists might be different, but I strongly do not recommend Amy.

Josie did my hair, very nice and accomodating . She did what I requested which I saw on Pinterest.I have visited a lot of hairdressers in San Antonio and this time found someone that suits my taste. I recommend her. Because of the beautiful job she's done, I recommend her. Of course there are charges on shampoo and style. I just had a dry cut.Everyone was friendly. There are people who had a negative input particularly the prices. So before you start the service , ask them their price. In my opinion she deserves what she charged. The salon is clean and spacious and everyone is friendly.

When I came last Wednesday, there was only 1 person working and no customers so I was seen very quickly. I asked for a trim and layers. She wet my hair and cut it and then didn't dry it. My hair was wet when she asked me if the length was ok. Since it was wet, it looked fine to me. But then when I got home and it dried up, my hair looks SO choppy and not layered at all. Plus the two sides aren't even... you can see from the pics. Probably won't be back :( I'm scared if I ask them to fix it it'll be worse. I'd have to go somewhere else to get it fixed..

The cut looks choppy and after I left the salon I ended up driving back because the back of my hair had patches along my neck line. I told her to just turn it into a short bob because at that point it was the only way to save it. I'm mostly upset because my wedding is in 2 weeks and I'll have to make do with the extremely short hair that I don't like.

The initial appointment went well and I was happy with my hair overall, but I noticed afterward that my money piece was uneven. I reached out the very next day to get it fixed, but communication was extremely delayed. It took two days to get a response, and this pattern continued back and forth, making it difficult to schedule a correction. Despite this, we eventually agreed on a time. On the day of the follow-up appointment, I even offered to come earlier if she was available, but received no response. I still showed up early for my scheduled 3:30 appointment, texted to let her know I was there, and got no reply. After waiting over 15 minutes past my appointment time, calling, getting no response, and hearing her with another client, I left as she never acknowledged me. When I requested a partial refund due to the lack of communication and missed appointment, it was denied, and I was blamed for leaving as she expected me to wait even tho she never acknowledged me--even though I waited beyond a typical grace period and made multiple attempts to reach her. And she stated no mistakes were made on her end. Overall, the work itself was decent, but the communication and professionalism were very disappointing, especially when trying to resolve an issue. I would recommend improving response time and client communication.
