Initially when we spoke she was very upfront with her pricing which I appreciated and felt was reasonable. Of course we did the trial which she was kind enough to coordinate with my engagement shoot. She nailed the look I was going for on the first try and my engagement session went on without a hitch. Flash forward to my wedding and Alexis continued with her streak of amazingness. She created a perfect timeline that flowed well with our diy wedding/crazy morning and when things popped up unexpectedly she was flexible. Not only was I happy but all my bridesmaids and family kept telling me what a great job she had done on their makeup as well. All in all, Alexis is a true professional with great talent. If you're unsure if you should book her, don't hesitate. She's such a sweetheart and she definitely takes her job seriously.

When Carly did my practice run, we have a couple of things come up. I liked my makeup but the concealer shined in flash lighting, some of the colors were a little bright for my liking, and the lashes felt really heavy. The important piece is: A- she did a practice run so we didn't find this out on wedding day. She corrected everything and I was so happy with my makeup. B- When I told her about the color choices she was gracious, and totally responsive to what I wanted...not what she thought looked best. My comfort was her #1 concern. C- She went out and found extra light, perfect lashed especially for me and my sensitive eyes. Above and beyond service. 2. PROFESSIONAL and FLEXIBLE!!! Carly did full makeup for me, my mom and a bridesmaid, then she did lashes and eyes for 8 other bridesmaids and eyes for the flower girls. She was accommodating, professional and FAST :) She is hysterical and personable too! 3. VALUE!!! Worth every penny! Even after the 100+ degree day, outdoor wedding and when my husband smashed cake right into my eyes my makeup looked good!! Yes, he is the worst LOL! I had to pull off my lashes, cause there was cake in them. My makeup held up. I would hire Carly for any makeup needs in the future and I have recommended her for several friends weddings (which she did) since!

I can't believe I called them last minute, and within half an hour they had an appointment ready for me to get my hair and makeup done for an event. I'm beyond grateful! Not only did they fit me in, but they made sure I looked absolutely stunning. I still can't believe how they managed to completely glow me up in such a short amount of time. I wasn't even in the chair for an hour, yet I left completely satisfied--and honestly, blown away. If you ever need a place that can take care of you ASAP, this is it. And I'm not saying this as someone who gets her hair and makeup done every day. I'm saying it because the entire experience was top-notch--from the warm hospitality (snacks, water, coffee, whatever you need!) to the incredible service. The fact that they not only accepted a last-minute appointment but delivered such amazing results? Wow. Just wow. Thank you so much--I'll definitely be coming back!

I made it very clear that I wanted long layers only. Unfortunately, once I got to my car and looked more closely, I realized my shortest layer was cut inches above the base of my neck, while the longest goes past my shoulder blades. Now, I can hardly put my hair in a bun, and the layers are so choppy that someone even asked if I had extensions underneath. I'm honestly devastated--it took so long to grow my hair out, and now it'll take just as long to get back to where I started. I hate how it looks and feels, and I wish my instructions had been better understood.

AVOID this salon at all cost. contrary to her attempt to save face, my hair was not in the extremely fragile state she suggested. Had I known that she was going to charge me $180 an hour I would have stopped her after her first bleach attempt. Terribly misleading is the fact that she used her billing hours to rack up the charges. I would have never agreed to spend $900 dollars for a piss poor bleach job. Further what I asked for could have been accomplished by a few simple foils in the front and through the back with a toner.
