I left the Urgent Care vowing to never return. A week later I went to the ER because the pain wasn't subsiding. Turns out I have 7 fractured ribs! How irresponsible. These ladies both need to be terminated. Fast forward 2 weeks: My adult daughter is not feeling well and has been vomiting for days. She called the Broadheadsville LVHN Urgent care against my warnings..... yup.... she also was refused treatment and decided to drive to the Quakertown Urgent Care where we have ALWAYS received superb care. Don't risk your well-being trying to get help from the Broadheadsville LVHN Urgent Care.

At 3:45 a woman came out and asked me if I was waiting for lab work & I confirmed that I was. She told me, "our last appointment is at 3:45pm. I explained that I had checked in prior to that time & she said "I just finished with the previous patient". I repeated that I had checked in before their closing time, and it wasn't my fault that the previous patient took longer, so I asked if she could just do my blood draw, given it WAS 3:45 precisely. She said, "no, I asked her and she said no". I don't know who her/she was, assuming the supervisor, but that's just poor customer service. At any establishment if you check in prior to the last appointment regardless if the previous person takes longer, protocol says you still take that person. I would understand if I had checked in at 3:46pm but I did not. I was so livid at how unfair the situation was that I just walked out. When I got in my car to leave at 3:46pm I got a message through My LVHN that I cancelled my appointment! Lehigh Valley has lost it's consideration for they're patients since becoming such a large corporate entity and it's very disheartening. I take care of my 87-yr old mother and it's usually hard for me to get away. I won't go there again.

As a result, an appointment with their Stroudsburg location for 11 Jan to get two vaccines. Upon arrival, the experience went downhill quickly in a very surprising and negative way. There were two employees at check-in. One was helping the only other adult so I informed the other employee I was here for my on-line appointment for two vaccines. Her response? We don't provide these (paraphrase, but it was a short quick answer). Really? so my next question asked if these vaccines were not in stock. Her response was we don't give nor ever had given these vaccines at this location. Hmmm I was thinking, so then asked her why one is able to make a vaccine appointment on your web-site. The look she gave me reminded me of a deer caught in headlights. Then I asked about availability of these vaccines at another Pocono Urgent Care location. Her response, and I quote, "I don't know". And not even an offer to find out availability at other locations. Wow, what a great example of a helpful employee. The other PUC employee never uttered a peep. Last I suggested she contact PUC's IT team to have the website corrected. Her response was a kick in the ass, and I quote, "I only work here". No kidding young lady, that's why I'm suggesting this to you. Guess the word & meaning of initiative and taking responsibility were not in her work ethic. So it's ok in her mind that P.U.C.'s website is incorrect and she doesn't much care if the same thing happens to another P.U.C. customer. The other front desk employee still didn't utter a peep nor show any initiative or willingness to assist. Maybe I'm the first person to make an online appointment for pneumonia & shingles vaccines. Damn good to know PUC's employees did not added any value to my visit nor give an evidence that they gave a shit. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't get a shot, who knows if they would have given me the correct vaccine with a clean unused needed. The original bottle label was covered by him to hide the date which showed the bottle of medicine he gave me had expired the year before. He always treats our concerns seriously and brings resolution. The PAs are very adept and experienced in caring for each patient with skill and knowledge. The most comforting aspect is their determining what follow-up care is needed, even for some serious conditions that our family and friends have experienced. The office is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated for a peaceful feel. The staff is efficient and attentive, giving confidence that our concerns will be answered and attended to in a timely manner.

What an easy experience from start to finish, and pleasant people !…read more Ladies, you all know that feeling when you wake up to use the restroom and something isn't right. Sure enough, I had the awful feeling Of a UTI. I knew I needed to get in somewhere and fast before the lower back pain started. Admittedly, I called another facility in our area but due to the amount of COVID tests they were doing that day, they were unable to see me. I was scared, upset and felt trapped ... Until I called Skylands and the gentlemen who answered the phone calmed all my concerns and had me come in that day. I was spoken to with such care and support, and was in and out of the office quicker than it took my pharmacy to fill my prescription. Not only that, but the doctor's bedside manner was impeccable and I felt so important and cared for. I've been to a lot of urgent care type places, specifically for UTIs, and none have made me feel as safe, cared for and respected as Skylands Thank you to EVERYONE who works here. While I can't say I will be back (fingers crossed I won't) if I ever find myself in need of care , they will be my first call.

She asked me about insurance information and she told that I can come in next day . when I came on next day, on Saturday the receptionist and nurse practitioner, Aaron rejected to help me initially because they "don't have a surgical supply", and later when I told that I would bring surgical supply and and I have all discharge paperwork where it was indicated that could do it by myself, but because it's on the head, I could not do it. The nurse practitioner Aaron was not very compassion and he told that without order from the surgeon, he cannot change a dressing. As a physician by myself I would consider such behavior of medical staff and unprofessional. I told them that just yesterday I had similar services in another urgent care without any problems. They told me go back to them. I am planning to contact with is a board of medical examiners of state of New Jersey with a complaint for such treatment me as a patient.
