After trying on what honestly feels like hundreds of dresses and visiting nearly every bridal shop…read morein the Nashville area, A&bé was in a league of its own. From the moment I walked in, the difference was undeniable--the quality of the dresses, the energy of the space, and the professionalism of the staff completely set this place apart. It felt elevated, intentional, and truly special in a way that no other shop I visited quite captured. On my first visit, Kathaleen helped me find two dresses I genuinely loved, which was already more success than I'd had at most places. When I came back weeks later, Taylor assisted me and somehow made the experience even better. I tried on more dresses and left feeling excited, confident, and honestly giddy--something I hadn't consistently felt elsewhere. A few days later, I came back for a third visit to revisit my favorites, and that's when I found my dress. What meant the most to me was that even after coming in multiple times, I was never made to feel like a burden or an inconvenience. Every single visit felt just as welcoming, patient, and genuine as the first. That alone is rare. At so many other shops, returning felt pressured, rushed, or even slightly uncomfortable--but that was never the case here. Taylor, in particular, was incredible. She was warm, attentive, and truly listened to every detail I shared. She took the time to explain the construction and features of each dress, making me feel informed and confident instead of overwhelmed. Her approach made the entire process feel personal, thoughtful, and exciting rather than stressful. Simply put, A&bé gave me the bridal experience I had been hoping for all along but hadn't quite found anywhere else. I cannot recommend them enough!

She was kind and open to listening to and giving suggestions. She made me feel like a true bride. The communication was good throughout the process and the young lady that became my consultant afterwards was wonderful as well. My main complaint is for the time after my dress arrived. My dress has layered tulle sleeves and when it arrived it was pointed out to me that a few of the stitches had popped. The consultant said oh it's a simple fix, you could probably fix it yourself or take it to any seamstress to get it fix. I'm sure she meant well but it turned out to be a way bigger problem than it seemed. I took the dress to four seamstress and no one would touch it due to the complexity. The fifth seamstress ended up having to realign the stitching down the bodice among other things. All in all I would recommend you send the dress back to the seller if even the "smallest" issue comes about.

The shop itself is very attractive and well organized. I made a visit to Arzelle's when I was shopping for my wedding dress. I stopped in Arzelle's during the evening. They didn't have very many customers, but the staff seemed a little flustered for some reason. I wanted to buy a wedding dress that was more of a mermaid form fitting style, but they only had one or two styles with this cut in the store. The staff at this store were very young girls, some of them looked like they were in high school, and they kinda didn't have much of a clue about how to help me find something. I would recommend this shop for browsing for styles, but the staff were not that helpful. They do not sell sample dresses here either, so be prepared to order several months ahead of time.

I spent time trying on several gorgeous dresses, sipping my tea, and taking photos of the beautiful earth toned bridesmaids dresses. It feels luxurious and there are big beautiful mirrors. Also, I HIGHLY recommend Maggie- as an anxious bride, she put me at ease, joked with me the whole time, gave opinions when asked but left plenty of space for me to decide how I felt, and kept it exciting and fun the whole time. She could tell me about the fabrics used in the dress and showed me pictures of several of the dresses styled in weddings. I am so happy to see that Ann is still the owner. We made an appointment online, and on the day of our appointment Carol took care of us. I was able to bring 3 of my closest friends with me to my appointment, and there was seating provided for them while they waited to see the gowns. We were directed where to look for gowns my size, and were given so many wonderful options. Overall I tried on 6-7 dresses, and never felt rushed or pressured to make a purchase. The appointment lasts for 90 minutes total. Carol took care of us by listening to comments and observations, and then made suggestions and recommendations to try. I put my full trust in Carol, because thanks to her recommendations I found a dress that made me FEEL like a bride! I was there to try on different silhouettes, and while I did not say yes to the dress (yet), I believe they serve champagne once you purchase a gown. Their prices are very reasonable, and they will ask you for your budget so that they can direct you where to look on the racks and make realistic recommendations. If your budget is $5,000 or less, then this shop has the selection for you! I cannot wait to come back to check out their other options (mother-of-the bride gowns, especially), and take another look through their gorgeous gowns.

I went to try on dresses last weekend at 3 different places. White Dresses was, by far, my worst experience. Actually the only bad experience I have had! For starters, the person working behaved unprofessionally, was unprofessionally dressed (a crop top sweatshirt and yoga pants), and not observing COVID protocols. At every other appointment I went to that day the staff was there to assist me every step of the way. At White Dresses, if I wanted help I had to ask, but even then I felt like I was made to feel as if I was an inconvenience for asking a question. I pulled all of my own dresses from the racks and the person assisting me added no help other than to zip me into my dresses. We asked for the WiFi password so we could FaceTime my mother and aunt who live out of town and the staff member didn't know it and didn't even try to find it for us (minor detail in the grand scheme but there was an attitude exuded when we were taking up a few min to FaceTime my mom). She stood in silence as I tried on dresses, not once offering up a comment or helpful suggestion. It was so awkward it was obvious even to my family members who were on FaceTime. Once I was in a dress she was standing with my next dress waiting for me to be done. I felt so rushed and it very much felt like she had Saturday night plans waiting for her. We had an appointment booked for 1.5 hrs and I was done in 30 minutes. I was incredibly sad leaving my appointment bc White Dresses had several of the brands I wanted to try on, but it was such a bad experience that after I tried on a few I wanted to leave as badly as she wanted me to be gone. If there is any question as to if you want to go here, just read the owners comments to complaints on google reviews and see how many 1 Star reviews there are (oddly enough there hadn't been any reviews in 2 months and then after my friend posted a negative review today--and was met with defensiveness by the owner--there were a handful of five star reviews in a row all within a couple hours... I'll let you be the judge of that, but seems fishy to me).
