First off, I've been a T-Mobile customer for about 16 years. Up until today they broke that trust…read more How? I spoke to a customer service rep a few weeks ago. The modification wasn't a difficult one. Basically they changed my iPad line to a regular phone line. No problem, right? I asked if it would change my charges in any way. The ONLY thing she said was that my bill would drop down to $80/ month. I asked again toward the end of our conversation. She assured me it would be $80. So, a few weeks go by and I get my phone bill today. It was $156. So, I called to take care of this mistake and sure enough, I was charged extra for changing the line for me. It's like, how hard is it to be honest with your customers? Anyway, this other customer service rep helps me a little. Not enough though. I end up losing my iPad line just to bring my bill back down to where it should be since it's only me. Instead of giving me back my other line, they still want to charge me $40 more than what I was paying before. Tmobile doesn't care about it's longtime customers. BOTTOM LINE!!! DON'T TRUST T-MOBILE!!! I used to praise them, but what a wake up call I had this evening. T-MOBILE DOES NOT KEEP THEIR WORD!!! I give T-Mobile negative rating on this whole situation. It was such an easy fix and they f'd it up twice. A.Howard

I visited this shop on Sunday and there was a very helpful and friendly girl working there. The place got VERY busy and she had to deal with several situations that could have been problematic if she didn't have patience and good customer service skills. Eventually two other employees showed up to help and they were on top of everything immediately. They answered my questions along with everyone else's and everyone got excellent service in a timely manner. I'm not sure, but this might be a family owned business. It has that "mom and pop" good vibe about it. Even more reason I like giving them my business. Again, don't let the smaller size of this shop fool you. They have all the same phones that the larger Metro PCS stores have AND better service. Thanks for signing me up and for the new phone!

Fast forward a month later we go into the store in November. Alejandra is our Verizon specialist and she says she will get our account straightened out. Super fast forward to now March. Which in human math is 8 months later. Happened to actually look at my phone bill and see charges for new equipment that should have never have been added to my account. I am dropping my receipts of the text conversation with Alejandra. No caption needed on that bs. After spending 45 mins on the phone with AI and finally getting a rep. They claimed they never received our phones. After stating we have text messages with the store they finally did a trace search on our imei number and found they did in fact have our old phones. Sweet baby Jesus. If I didn't have this text I was sh*t up a creek. Final thought: I will be switching to a different carrier. I don't have time to chase people down to do their jobs efficiently. I have been a…read morelong-time Cox customer but decided to try T-Mobile's Home Internet service because they advertised a 15-day free trial with no risk. I was explicitly informed that I would not be charged anything as long as I returned the equipment within the 15-day trial period. I ultimately decided not to proceed with T-Mobile's service and returned the equipment on Day 10, well within the trial window. However, when I reviewed my credit card statement, I discovered two charges from T-Mobile. I contacted T-Mobile customer service to have these charges removed. I was told that one charge, totaling $62.92, occurred in the middle of a billing cycle and could not be refunded while I was on the phone. I was instructed to call back after the billing cycle ended to request the refund, which is a significant inconvenience given my schedule. The second charge, for $10, was for a phone line activation. I clearly stated at the time of sign-up that I did not want a phone line, as I am a long-term Cricket customer and had no interest in switching mobile services. Despite this, T-Mobile advised that the $10 charge would not be refunded. Overall, this experience has been frustrating and time-consuming, and it does not reflect the no-risk trial that was promised.

We were about to go on a week long vacation and could not send it in to Dell to have it repaired so we did some research for places in town to help us fix it. Walking into GadgetMates, I knew I made the right decision. The staff was friendly and very direct with pricing and timing. The person I inititaly spoke with even had the same laptop as my husband so he knew what to ask for right away. I left my info and they provided me with a card and ticket number, tagging both my laptop and charging block. They texted me all along the way. Once diagnosed, they called and let me know the damage. It was a reasonable charge for what was wrong. They had to have the part delivered so they quoted a specific amount of time but luckily for us, it was ready early and we picked it up the day we flew out of town. Literal perfect timing. They also were really good about letting my husband pick it up even though I was the one who dropped it off. The shop itself is clean and tidy and there are quite a few things to look at. I would recommend them to anyone who asks and be back in if we need another repair.
