I thought why not do my nails while I am at new Mexico? Got my gel nail with design done, with mani and pedi combo for a total of $60+ which honestly is reasonable given the things they have done. Do note that like all good nail places, there may be language barrier, and that there may be miscommunication, so make sure to make it clear what you want. All the staff are very good it seems like at what they do! The place is very spacious. I usually get infections or irrtation from time to time when doing my nails in California because they would dig too deep cutting my cuticles etc. But this place did not, I was skeptical at first but I waited a week to do my review because of that. Super friendly and affordable. In town for a long weekend and we wanted to get a mani/pedi. Last minute appointments are hard to get however they took us as walk ins. I didn't plan on doing my nails 700 miles away from home, but my paint chipped on the way to Albuquerque and my mom and I decided to get them done. I found this place on Yelp! And decided to give it a shot, y'all it's one of THE BEST pedicures I've gotten anywhere. My nails lasted more than 3 weeks looking intact!!!!! The ladies who took care of us did an amazing job, I wish I remembered their names bc they deserve all the recognition in the world. I request a pedicure and manicure with a no cut just a file and to keep nails square. The lady cut and made my toenail oval on the side and my toes nails round. this is not what I asked. i also notice unsanitary practices. she filed my names and then rubbed lotion instead of asking me to wash hands. i didn't let her paint I just paid and left so I could wash my hands. I came here last month and a younger person did nails and did a great job. However, I don't think I will come back or recommen d. the lady was the worst experience I had. she didn't listen to what I asked for my pedicure. my nails are now oval and round short. The service and the way they interact with new customers needs to be improved. It was my first time ever going there which seemed promising since all of their reviews seem to be highly rated but unfortunately that was not my experience!!! First thing when i arrived all of the techs were at the pedicure station and just simply stared at me until one the workers finally did a nod like what are you here for...I told them i wanted to do Gel X nails since they have it listed as a service and one the lady's said no. The short, older man did a sloppy job and was very rude. When we asked him to fix the nails he got upset. He told my daughter, "you sure are picky for a 14 year old". I told him no, they don't look good and we want it done right. He said, "well that's how I do it". I finally asked him to take off the nails so we could go somewhere else. Summer time is here and it's time for a pedicure! My nails were in need of attention. Upon walking in just after 12, the staff greeted us and directed us to pick a color out. Right after, our seats were ready and they began our pedicures. Like other nail salons, they had a message chair and gave you a leg and foot massage. It was nothing special. A good time to relax and rest! They have a larger shop than it's competitors and staff ready to serve. If you are in a time crunch, it'll be best to call ahead or check in as I can assume during certain hours it'll be difficult to get in and out in a timely matter. read more

Would leave a 0 star review if I could, employees were very incompetent and rude. Switched nail techs THREE times because they couldn't perform a simple manicure. Absolutely pathetic. They all need to go to school for this or take some classes at least. Laughed the whole time then bragged about how good they did when it took 2 hours for a 30 minute men's manicure. Called in on an early Friday morning (my day off), and asked for a spot to get a pedi. They had an opening within the hour I called- hooray! I got to the shop, pretty simple nothing really special, slim pickings for regular polish color but I know everyone is loving gels and dips these days.. My pedicure was GREAT. The woman who serviced me took her time, was through cleaning my toes and scrubbed away my callus (she was smaller so u get why she couldn't scrub too hard..) but overall it was great. I found a color which matches the one I have on my nails now (I know some ppl have to match haha), and then it was time to pay... The price for the Deluxe pedi is *DOUBLE* what they have listed here in their Yelp page!!!! A simple pedicure would've been $30 so my deluxe was $45.... When I questioned the price difference the only explanation offered was the upgrade I chose. (Insert sigh here). I'm being generous with a four star rating when really it could've gotten three and half, but she was nice and took her time with me, which I really appreciate. Don't waste your time here. $25 for a the worst pedicure I've ever received. Lady was so busy talking she could of put more energy into what she was getting paid for. Chair didn't work. I had to sit straight up and forward the entire time. She didn't seem to care. I asked her to add polish to an area she clearly missed. I knew off the bat he didn't really know what he was doing. he was slow and clumsy. the white lines are very sloppy even tho he re did them about 15 times each toe... it was the end of the day and plenty of people were doing nothing and could've helped him. took forever. i choose the basic pedicure which was listed as $28. Disappointed with this place as my gel nail polish chipped after only 4 days. I was on vacation out of state or I would have returned and made them fix it. I paid good money for it too ($32). I was visiting Albuquerque and I needed a manicure. I chose this salon based on other Yelp reviews. The salon is clean and roomy with plenty of parking. I arrived around 4:00 on a Friday afternoon and I was seated immediately. The tools came directly out of the sterilizer and the workspace was very clean. They had a large polish selection and the tech was very gentle. I didn't feel rushed and I'm very happy with the final product. The price ($12 for a regular manicure) was reasonable for the service I received. Would have given five stars if the client chairs had been in better shape. Bottom line: I'll go back next time I'm in town. read more

Great little shop that I've been going to for about a year for pedicures. I've never done gel, but don't seem to need to; their regular polish stays on easily 3 weeks. In the summer, I'm addicted to French pedicures and these always look very conservative and classy. Today I went for a holiday deep red that had a bit of a gold sparkle by OPI. Of course nail color choice is not why I want to review... Today I also splurged for the "spa" pedicure. OMG. Peppermint mask on my feet then wrapped in a hot, moist towel. Then this orange-smelling salt scrub applied from the knees down. So delicious. And she seemed to really care that I enjoyed it. I must have looked a little stressed out when I arrived, as I was instructed to put my phone away and close my eyes. Even if you are not told, you should do this anyway. Yes, there is always the pressure of the upsell flower or service, but I'd happily pay for the spa upgrade any day. The woman massaged my legs and feet a lot...took a lot of time and care. I am a little curious as to their sterilization technique but I've seen the antibacterial additive in the water and have first-hand seen them scrub the tubs. Also, I've been going there often and long enough to have experienced a problem if there were one. (My old place used "sealed" equipment and I ended up with a nail fungus so I don't think that is a perfect telltale sign of cleanliness.) Overall, I love this little place. I usually spend about $25 or so from either upgrading to a French polish or the like, but my toes look fantastic. read more

DO NOT Patronize This Place! It is the WORST Salon EVER! My granddaughter new nail set was placed a quarter of an inch upward from the bottom cuticle up so you could see the natural nail! One hand was smooth one was rough, just missing a top coat but when she pointed it out, the tech huffed and puffed over her own mistake and the manager had to polish the other hand which took 3 minutes! This place is a pretty decent nail salon. It is convenient for me because we live in the area and the staff members are very friendly. The prices are pretty decent, and the quality of work is pretty good! The pedicures seem to last for a little over a month, but my only complaint is some of the nail polishes could be switched out (because they seem to be getting separated with age). This has been our go to place for about a year. You always know what to expect, and the girls are very efficient with their work. I recently got a pedicure here last week and I probably got the best design of my entire life! The girl that I got did an outstanding job, and I was just highly satisfied! This place seems to get very busy on certain days, but that seems to because of the quality work the ladies do. The customers all seem to be regulars and are very content with the work that gets done. Don't let the outside and surroundings turn you away! This salon is neat and well-maintained. There is hardly ever a wait (less than 10mins) and they do great, quality work! Some salons don't seem to value the customer unless you get their most exspensive and expansive treatment, but LV takes their time no matter what service you're getting. I've only had a pedicure so far, but I'm so happy I found my new go-to salon, I'll definitely be coming back more often! The prices are right and the salon is convenient. Love it! read more

I received a pedicure and had gel on previously, and the lady who did my pedicure peeled and scraped off the gel on my nails with a cuticle clipper. She then charged me $5 for this removal.. which is dangerous and weakens the nails. I was completely shocked that a she did this on me and that a nail salon would promote this as if they have 0 education on the health and safety of how to remove gel polish. I paid $32 for a service to have this done properly. If I wanted to ruin my nails and be lazy I would have done this myself at home. When she finished the pedicure she didn't assist with my shoes or let me know they were dry to leave. I noticed she didn't properly clean off or remove the nail polish on my skin either so it looks smudged and as if it was painted by a child. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied in the service I received. I called to talk about this and they did not apologize or assist in helping with the problem. read more
