We had heard great things about this restaurant, and made sure to make a reservation. But being the early sleepers we are, we went at 8 PM and it was pretty much empty in the spacious restaurant. The service was on point throughout the evening, on par with the nice restaurant. The menu had lots of things to order, and we went on a vegetarian route and ordered a few things to share. FRIED ARTICHOKES // Our favorite dish! I've never seen fried artichokes served like this. They were cut into thin slivers, battered and fried, resulting in very addictive and crispy artichoke chips. SWEET + SOUR EGGPLANT // The eggplant was cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth. The glaze wasn't overly sweet - second favorite! QUINOA // My least favorite dish. The quinoa was very plain, and would have benefited from more seasoning and veggies. Not something I would order while out at a restaurant. BURRATA // A delicious big ball of gooeyness, with arugula and tomato. Luzi B.B. is a great restaurant, and a perfect option for a sit-down meal. They have seating available indoors + out, but if you're looking for more liveliness I suggest coming a little later into the evening! read more

Few of our friends recommended this restaurant. Our expectations were exceeded when the food began to arrive, the oysters were very fresh, blue crab spread was to die for. We also had the duck spring rolls and like them a lot. Main course meat and truffle ravioli were Delish. We enjoyed great service and we will be back when in Madrid. read more

We found this on Yelp as we researched restaurants near the area. I loved the quick service and trendy venue. The food was delicious! I had the best steak frites that I've had in a long time. My mother also has a delicious burger though you should know that they only served her one in. If you want a normal burger, you should ask the server. Overall, great value for the price and the place is definitely a nice and trendy place. Highly recommend and would return when I revisit Madrid. read more

George at Luzi Bombon was the worst waiter I have ever had. He never came up to us during our meal, and then finally when we went to order our dinner, he told us that the kitchen had closed. The restaurant still made us pay for drinks and bread. This restaurant might seem great on paper, but they scam you and do not care for their customers. read more

No idea why the rating is so low (as of this writing it shows 3.5 stars). Honestly this is an amazing place ... try the eggplant and duck spring rolls, they are can't miss items. The lamb and truffle pasta were some of the best we had in Spain. Btw the cocktails and the specially made lemonade for my kids were tasty too :-) On the dessert front the cheesecake and the chocolate lava cake w/ ice cream are to die for. Yumm ... can't recommend it enough. Service was great, we called up early to make reservations (definitely recommended to make sure you get a space). Well we know that we are not going to a tipical tapas bar but it was one off the worst restaurant i visit latly. The asparagus salad was not connected, to much flavours and asparagus from a can.... Come on !!!! The carpacho was fresh but without flavours at all. 1 main meat order was verry good but the appatisers was verry bad. The other main meat order was verry bad and the fried potato was dad not crunchie at all. Tuna main deesh was nice fresh and simple. Other fish order was verry bed. The desert was a joke and the "culle" that was discribe to as something that god itself created it was nothin but a regular suflle with a ice cream ball. Very good quality and excellent service. Food is exquisitely prepared and even a "normal" dish is great looking and tasting. Price a bit over the average but totally worth it. There's a big waiting list for busiest days of the week so make sure you book. Didn't try the wines but nice wine list. Would recommend tapas/starters to share and complement with main course. The meat is exceptional and even the fried fish was very good quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the ambience is exclusive but not snobbish - which is a fresh change. Good for couples and small groups - probably not for large groups or loud crowds that want to go buck wild! :) it is very centric and easy to get to - either by car or public transport. The bill is not outrageously expensive taking into account the quality of what you get! The deco is beautiful BTW! read more
