The appointments are on time, the staff are friendly, and the facility is always clean! There is a Lab/X-ray center on the same floor (it shares a waiting room) which is extremely convenient if your doctor orders any tests. There has only been one occasion I had to go to a separate facility, but that was for a unique blood test. An advantage to the Wheaton system is they offer online scheduling, emailing with your doctor, prescription refill request, etc. through a program called "MyChart". I work weird hours, so this has been especially helpful for managing things I don't have time for during regular business hours. Also, I've been able to get results faster on my own without having to come to the office.

Dr. Mark Nordness at ProHealth is by far the best allergist I have visited. The office itself is accommodating and helpful; everyone is friendly, and appointments go smoothly. The first time I came in for an appointment two years ago, a solution was reached which was helpful for managing my allergy symptoms. Two years down the road, I felt it was necessary to visit again, as my prescription had expired, and I was having worse symptoms than usual. Dr. Nordness is extremely competent, professional, and clearly cares about his patients' well-being. I am now on a newer allergy medication at his recommendation, Flonase Sensimist. This has been helpful so far. I appreciate how instrumental ProHealth Allergy & Immunology has been in managing my allergy symptoms. If you are having allergy issues, I can't recommend Dr. Nordness enough.

I went to him multiple times. The appointments take 5 minutes because he basically cuts me off and…read moretells me "you're too young to have ______" then writes me a prescription. Went in for abdominal pain and other GI issues for months, he says its muscular and the GI stuff was unrelated and gives me pain killers and muscle relaxers, and tells me I am too young to have IBS. Well its months later and I am still in pain, so I go to a doctor now who will actually test me and investigate. He only ever talked to me with a prescription pad in hand ready to prescribe me some new pills to take. It never seemed like he put much thought into any of my cases since in his opinion I was too young to have any problems. Tell that to the kids who are living in hospitals around the country with cancer or other serious illnesses. I told my new doctor that, and they laughed at how ridiculous those comments are. On one occasion he did not even show up to his office for my appointment time, so I had to reschedule. If you are looking for a primary care doctor, then keep looking because you will be underwhelmed by both the level of of service and bedside manner you receive with him. Glad I got to waste my money getting zero solutions to my problems.
