I believe this past weekend was her final weekend doing those walk-ins this summer, but I may be wrong. During my walk-in appointment, I filled out my information and signed a waiver, and then had to wait at the studio for my name to be called. Because it was a walk-in, and not an actual appointment I waited for about an hour because there were several people ahead of me. You're able to book appointments online, and would not have to wait for this long if you made an appointment! If you're ever thinking about doing a walk in, definitely try to get there early. Jade was so lovely and kind and communicative. I've gotten many piercings in my lifetime, and was doing a very simple lobe piercing, but even so, she made me feel so comfortable and communicated everything she was doing every step of the way. She was very thorough and gave me her contact information if I had any questions afterwards. I got some of the saline solution they provide there as well. They had some really cute options for piercings! I upgraded to the stars/moons piercings because they were so cute. Some of their cheaper options come with the price of the piercing. I would absolutely come back here to get pierced by Jade again!

Over a month later and days before my session no examples had been provided. I called and management moved me to a different artist but there was no follow through on managements part. It was quick and easy to make an appointment on their website, and it didn't require a security deposit either. I arrived to get my conch piercing at 5:30 pm and I was out by 6 pm. I was a little nervous and had lots of questions about the piercing itself and the after care. I also had not gotten a piercing in years, so I was worried it would be painful. They were kind and allowed my two friends to come to the back with me to hold my hand (I know... I'm a scaredy cat). Mitch walked me through everything that was going to happen- for example, "okay, you're gonna feel a small pinch first and then you'll feel some pressure." He also said that my only job was to keep breathing. He had me take one deep breath in and then exhale out right as he did the piercing, too. As you can tell, the team is very patient and kind here. This is a great spot for anxious girlies or for your first time getting a piercing. Their piercing and jewelry pricing is all fair. My conch piercing costed $45 plus the 14K gold jewelry I chose. Unlike other shops, they had a huge selection of yellow gold and rose gold options that were actually cute- flowers, stars, moons, etc. On average, I saw the stud earrings were about $60-170 each. They also tallied up my total prior to actually getting the piercing, so there weren't any surprises at the end when I paid. They sent me home with a detailed after care guide too. I've already told friends and family about this shop being a great option for them when they come visit Utah.

Matt offered a variety of options and gave me some ideas I had not considered, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I appreciated that he was not pushy about any of the ideas. He pointed out that my outer conch provided a unique surface area that would feature snake bites, a location I had not considered but ultimately loved. The piercings themselves were minimally painful, and I was so impressed by how Matt ensured safety and cleanliness throughout the process. I had a great experience. The man piercing was extremely professional and efficient. It's been two months and my piercings healed nicely. Cons: They didn't have a wide range of jewelry. I wish there was more information on how you can order something from somewhere else ahead of time. You have to wear the same earrings for 8 weeks, so having something you don't love is kind of a bummer. My piercings might be slightly misaligned which could be for numerous reasons. It's honestly so negligible and both ears look great, but I could see this driving somebody crazy who is OCD. I also have some weird AF small ears, so considering that... I think he did great. Also, he had me approve the placing before he pierced and he had me check them out after. Bear was so dope, I was a little anxious so I snapped at him during the process but it was fine. His apprentice, I forgot her name but she was the sweetest. Helped with explaining aftercare and told me to sit down if i needed it. Got it done monday, and it obviously hurt the day of. Not too bad, just a pinch. The rest of this week though its been fine! No pain at all, the only times were when I hit it. I saw so many pictures of belly piercings while they're healing and I thought that it would be red and sore and crusty the days after, but its not. Not even red now. I LOVE it. The process was kind of funny, he tried talking me through it so I wouldn't anticipate it and I said a few things that I hardly remember.
