I had a wonderful experience here with the piercer Jade. During the summer, Jade does walk-ins from 10am-1pm during the Ogden Farmers Market. I believe this past weekend was her final weekend doing those walk-ins this summer, but I may be wrong. During my walk-in appointment, I filled out my information and signed a waiver, and then had to wait at the studio for my name to be called. Because it was a walk-in, and not an actual appointment I waited for about an hour because there were several people ahead of me. You're able to book appointments online, and would not have to wait for this long if you made an appointment! If you're ever thinking about doing a walk in, definitely try to get there early. Jade was so lovely and kind and communicative. I've gotten many piercings in my lifetime, and was doing a very simple lobe piercing, but even so, she made me feel so comfortable and communicated everything she was doing every step of the way. She was very thorough and gave me her contact information if I had any questions afterwards. I got some of the saline solution they provide there as well. They had some really cute options for piercings! I upgraded to the stars/moons piercings because they were so cute. Some of their cheaper options come with the price of the piercing. I would absolutely come back here to get pierced by Jade again! read more

I don't normally leave a review but I wanted to make sure I can help other people not come here for a tattoo. First off one the Artist at legacy his name is Jason was body shaming his own client as she was getting a tattoo . Completely inappropriate and not okay! Secondly the cleanliness of this shop was disturbing especially being a tattoo shop and having clean and sterile station should be always taken seriously. The atmosphere here is very fun and chill. Everyone that worked there seemed very nice and on top of that my tattoo turned out amazing. I got a skull tattoo by Su Kang. There was one artist here that I was contacting about doing this tattoo first and he stopped responding, unfortunately. I almost didn't try again with this shop but I saw Su's tattoos and even after she just finished her apprenticeship she looked very experienced. This company took a whole week to reply to my inquiry for consult, and then told me to reach back out after 48 hours if I hadn't heard from the artist that I chose, well 48 hours went by and I never heard from the artist, until I searched and found the artists cell number via Instagram. I texted and asked him to book a consult, said he would FaceTime for consult that night. dude never responded after that, and sent me a text the next morning asking to do it the next week, i agreed and asked him when and what , with no response literally 2 days later I haven't heard from the guy, like what the hell dude? Went to the new downtown location on 25th street. First off, the studio is located in a beautiful building and it was super clean. I was taking my daughter in to get her ears pierced and our piercer, Jade, was amazing! She just moved here from Missouri and has over a decade of experience... something most people underestimate when getting piercings for their children. She explained things very well, made my daughter feel comfortable (and brave) and did a wonderful job! So good, that I decided to get my nose done as well! I got online, made an appointment and got child care, I showed up, only to be told to fill out a form and take a seat, they said piercing gal was running late but had no information. I sat there for 10 mins as people piled into the waiting room. No one told us what the wait was and what to expect. I said there for another 20 mins. The piercing gal showed up 35 mins late, then took someone in who may have just been a walk in, now it's 35 mins past the time I had made the appointment. I recently got my first tattoo. Like most, this was a significant event in my life. I spent some time researching salons in Ogden (part of what I wanted from the overall experience) and Legacy was my choice. The place is clean and hip. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My consultation with Nik @nikthetattoer went better than expected, and the resulting 6-hour session was filled with unexpected pain (go figure), Nik singing and dancing while doing his craft (he's a wizard), staff stopping by to admire and support his work, more pain, Coca-Cola, and getting acquainted with interesting artists and patrons. For uncontrolled reasons, my healing time was prolonged. Nik was attentive, had me stop by the salon to address the situation, gave me a magical ointment to aid in the healing process, and communicated with me multiple times until I was healed up. I made an appointment to get my septum pierced months in advance, I scheduled it for 11:30, and was told to show up at 11:20. I was a little late but showed up at 11:25 and checked in at exactly 11:30. My family and I waited 30 minutes while jade the needle ninja sat directly above us. She didn't have any customers up there and after the 30 minutes told us that we would need to reschedule. She was very dismissive and rude. I scheduled with her because my mom said she was really good but I was ultimately very disappointed. Especially because she told me that the piercing only took 15 minutes and was sitting doing nothing for double that time. I would have rescheduled if she had been nicer but I decided against it. I was going to settle and decided against it. Will not be traveling through ogden again and of course no refund offered for dissatisfaction and inability to get a "custom font" as advertised. Coming from someone who's tried piercing their ears 2 times already and either had them close up on me or become infected, I've seen the nightmares of piercings gone wrong. Please don't go to Claire's- the gun method puts you at high risk for infection, and they are not very experienced at all. Seriously. Bear pierced my ears and I barely even knew it was happening it happened so fast. Super painless, honestly a lot less painful than the cheap guns used at Claire's or Walmart. He's very good at what he does and his profession!! You can tell he's experienced. He was very educational and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Went to Jade and she completely destroyed my ear! I got three other piercers and got their opinion on my terribly done cartilage piercing. I had a huge bump and after going back to her and asking her about it she said to just put tea tree on it. After almost 2 months of applying nothing changed. It was so emotional and wayyy overpriced. Okay. I am so impressed with this business. I've followed a lot of their artists on insta for years. I went in today for a piercing. I was impressed by every employee I interacted with. I was impressed by the measures that they took with Covid safety.
